The base of Cryptocurrency Bitcoin (BTC) which was US$68,700 in November has sunk more than 50% on last week at US$34,000. Bitcoin is trading at approx. US$ 36,500. I invested 20k in coins like xrp, pasc, doge, eth, btt etc approx 4-5 years back.
Due to last year jump of doge I withdrew approx 20k … still approx 50k left distributed in diff currencies…
BTW in these years many of the currencies got delisted and I made 100% losses on them. So basically there’s is nothing like a safe investment in crypto market… always distribute your investments in multiple coins so that failure of one doesn’t effect you much…

As of now…One can do SIP in good coins like bitcoin n etherium… So if coins falls further say 70% more they can average…also one can invest 10% of their investment as per risk appetite not more if they cant take huge rusk… i bought 30k in coins btc ethrium shiba cardano…

If govt ban crypto in India .what will happen to crypto investors.whether govt will hold it or they may introduce some tax for cryto holders.

@sentyjolly yes true but still i can see a small opportunity on crypto in between Feb to mid April in India as after union budget in May cryptocurrency ban or a new tax on crypto and stock market both can be imposed.

Do, you really think big crypto companies in India is going to support so as govt earns a big amount from exchanges like WazirX, Coinswitch, Zebpay.
If you want to invest then go for the amount you can lose easily that’s the solution wherever it’s stock market or Crypto all are manipulation.

Unless government makes rule for regulation of crypto coins, I prefer to stay away. There have been rumours multiple times that government may ban crypto trading. Last time government deferred introducing law as Indians have more than 6L crore invested in crypto as per official figures. Unofficial might be more. Unlike Indian market US market does not have lower or upper circuit so the fall is more. Whoever wants to invest should remember that there is no easy money. With no fundamentals to track crypto are just speculation. With China and India coming with their own crypto currency, i might think to entering into this but till then, i am happy being a fence sitter. I am heavily invested in stock market and happy with competitively little gains.
