If you have a Flipkart Axis Credit Card, you must have received an SMS saying “The terms and conditions on your Axis Bank Credit Card no. XXXXXXX will be revised w.e.f. 20-12-24.” Well, let’s quickly have a look with all the important Flipkart Axis Card updates, one by one.

This new change in the Flipkart Axis credit card is especially useful to know for those who convert their large payments into EMI installments or those who carry forward an unpaid credit card overdue balance.

Another key update for Flipkart Axis Credit Card holders is that starting from 20th Dec, cashback will not be eligible for Government Services (MCCs 9222, 9311, and 9402).
MCC 9222 is linked to fines, bail & bond payments, etc
MCC 9311 is linked to tax payments such as property taxes, etc
MCC 9402 is linked to postal services.
The given MCCs above are in addition to the existing list of category exclusions, spends, etc.

Starting 20th December, 2024, cardholders will need to pay a fee of ₹500 instead of the earlier fee of ₹450 for cheque bounces or if an auto-debit fails. Previously the maximum fee was capped at ₹1500 which is now removed. So be sure to keep sufficient funds in your auto-debit savings bank account if you have activated the auto-debit feature for your credit card payments.
How to close Axis Bank Auto-Debit
Open your Axis Mobile App > Home > Click on Credit Cards > Select Card > Total Controls > Auto Debit Payment > Select Card & Click Next > Deactivate Auto Debit
This is yet another key update in the Flipkart Axis Credit Card T&C that starting from 20th December, cardholders will have to pay an additional fee of ₹100 If you don’t pay the Minimum Amount Due (MAD) by the due date for two billing cycles in a row.
This ₹100 charge will keep being applied for every billing cycle until you clear the MAD. The usual late payment charges will also still apply alongside this.
Here are the late payment charges of Flipkart Axis Card as of November 2024

The existing charges are not revised. Only additional fee of Rs.100 on not meeting the MAD is a new update.
Cardholders make a note that you will have to pay 1.5% DCC markup fee instead of the earlier 1% if you choose to pay in INR on an international website that bills in a foreign currency (like USD or EUR). Another big update in the Flipkart Axis Credit Card terms is that cash payment will now cost ₹175 instead of ₹100.

Earlier, the 1% rent surcharge fee was capped at ₹1500 max. The same is now being removed from Flipkart Axis Credit Card as part of its revision starting 20th December, 2024.

No, now it doesn't. MCC 9399 which i believe includes NPS payments is in exclusions

"You can continue to enjoy 25% cashback* on recharge or bill payments for active Airtel connections through the Airtel Thanks platform.
