All Unlimited plans (family, individual and single device) and Prime plans support Echo, Fire TV, iOS, Android, and web. However, the Amazon Music Free Plan only supports Echo & Fire TV devices. Overall, the Amazon Unlimited Music subscription costs approx ₹119/month and ₹99/month for Prime members. While it does offer plenty of features, the Amazon Unlimited Music subscription almost seems 2X the price of Spotify Premium Standard Plan which stands at ₹139 for 2 months. Both the services claim to offer complete ad-free experience, offline usage and high audio quality options.
But here’s a thing, as per online reports, the single device plan costs ₹59/month which might actually be cheaper than Spotify’s standard plan.
Nevertheless, the Amazon Music Unlimited Plan isn’t entirely a new subscription. Amazon has been offering Music Unlimited plans in the US for a long while. The original Amazon Music service was first launched in India in 2018 and was originally launched as a digital music store in 2007.
