Latest update as of Sept 2026: Apple India has hiked the price of iPhone 17 from ₹82,900 to ₹99,900. In effect, the Flipkart BBD 2026 iPhone 17 price starts from ₹79,999 this year, almost ₹10,000 more expensive compared to iPhone 17’s lowest price of ₹69,008 seen on Flipkart in June 2026.

The most awaited Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale iPhone 17 price was revealed on 26th September in The Zero Hour Live Event at 07:00 PM starring the host RJ Rajnish. Flipkart has also started to tease upcoming sale banners for the iPhone 17 deal. As per the official announcement, the iPhone 17 price in Big Billion Days this year starts from Rs.79,999. For obvious reasons, it doesn't seem like a very attractive price. Following is a price breakdown of the iPhone 17 in BBD 2026

As you can see the Apple iPhone 17 BBD price starts from Rs.79,999 inclusive of a Rs.4000 Flipkart Axis or Flipkart SBI credit card discount along with an exchange bonus of Rs.3000. Note that the bank discount drops from Rs.4000 to Rs.2000 for those who use ICICI or Axis bank credit cards.

Apart from the trending comparison between iPhone Duo vs buying a car😂😭, the iPhone 17 BBD price has also started to trend on the internet. Well, both for the wrong reasons though:). It’s tough to tell which one is more disappointing. The iPhone 17 was selling at Rs.77,900 a few days back in the Flipkart Freedom Sale in August. Before that too, Flipkart has repeatedly brought price drop on the Apple iPhone 17. The lowest ever price of iPhone 17 is ₹69,008 spotted on Flipkart earlier in June 2026 in the GOAT Sale. Customers wait the entire for BBD with hopes of getting the biggest price drop on their favourite iPhone. However, this year’s BBD Sale iPhone 17 price has clearly changed this norm. Even if we take the recent Apple price hike in consideration, the iPhone 17 price at 80K in Flipkart’s biggest sale, BBD, just doesn’t do much to impress the shoppers.

The iPhone 17 was available at ₹69,008, its lowest-ever price on Flipkart. This price was seen during the Flipkart GOAT Sale 2026 in June and included a Flipkart Axis credit card ₹6633 discount.. The lowest-ever price of the iPhone 17 online across Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital, etc, so far is ₹69008 spotted on Flipkart a few days back in its Flipkart GOAT Sale in June 2026. The recent price drop of the iPhone 17 was around ₹71,250 spotted on Flipkart over 1 month ago. Also, both of these prices are significantly lesser than the last year’s 2025 Big Billion Days (BBD) Sale price which was around ₹78,900 (inclusive of 4K discount on Flipkart co-branded credit cards).

After iPhone 13, it has almost become a norm for Flipkart to bring lowest price deals on iPhones. Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale has maintained its record of bringing the lowest-ever prices on iPhone 13, iPhone 14, iPhone 15 and iPhone 16. Now in the upcoming Big Billion Days Sale 2026, iPhone 17 price is confirmed to be Rs.79,999* and Rs.77,999 using Flipkart co-branded credit cards. Unlike the iPhone 17 BBD's expected price of ₹67,999 to ₹72,999, the phone starts at a higher premium price.

Typically, Flipkart brings about 28% to 30% discount on the previous generation iPhone in its BBD Sale. For example, the iPhone 16 dropped from ₹69,900 original price to ₹49,900 during BBD, which works out to roughly a 29% price cut.

Now, if we apply that same 28% to 30% drop to the iPhone 17’s ₹82,900 launch price, the math lands us in the ₹58,000 to ₹60,000 range. However, as you might know, Apple India recently hiked iPhone 17 price from MRP ₹82,900 to ₹99,900 and this obviously affected BBD 2026 iPhone 17 price. If we apply the same 28% to 30% discount Big Billion Days usually brings on iPhone, the iPhone 17 price roughly comes to ₹71,000 (based on the recent hiked MRP).

On top of it, there’s also a rise in memory costs and electronics globally so expect this discount to drop 20% to 25% this year. Thus, this year, the iPhone 17 BBD deal is not the “lowest price” OR the “cheapest price” deal that we typically expect.

iPhone 17 price might drop further during BBD Sale early access on 8th October. After the early sale ends, the iPhone 17 price in BBD Sale 2026 will range between Rs.77,999 to Rs.79,999 (based on the previous iPhone BBD price trend).

There’s no doubt that this year’s BBD Sale iPhone price is on a higher side. Just to provide you some context, the iPhone 16 was at Rs.59,999 in Flipkart SASA LELE Summer Sale while the BBD 2025 sale price of iPhone 16 was around ₹48,499. This year now in Big Billion Days 2026, the Apple iPhone 15 (3 generations older iPhone) starts at Rs.63,999. 

On the other hand, Flipkart is marketing the Apple iPhone 17 deal as the “Last window to magic” and “Tomorrow’s iPhone will cost more. Today’s won’t” taglines. These taglines can be just marketing gimmick or the BBD iPhone 17 price could truly be the lowest it could be. We cannot pick one with certainly. 

However, the iPhone 17 at 80K does seem overpriced. So will there be a price drop on iPhone 17 again? Yes, as per Flipkart’s sale history and past trends. Will it be anytime soon? Likely not. The iPhone 17 will likely be put up above the 80K price in the next few sales of Flipkart. But the upcoming Flipkart GOAT Sale in 2027 might again offer a price drop, hopefully lower.
