I think now service will improve as small orders will decrease a lot. So it will be good for genuine customers also
Atleast JIO gave free delivery for such a long time. Thats all a business can do. never had any issues with returns or refunds till now.
Swiggy, Zepto with such high prices are asking for delivery charges.
Jiomart still >> Amazon grocery + Bigbasket kinds

1 item i want to return cost 800 but they not take return
They take minimum 3-4 days for the delivery of the order and still expecting that people will pay 40rs for this. The store is Just 3km away from my home but still it takes upto 4 days to get the order. Was using jio mart just because of the free delivery.

Wise decision from a business perspective.
Shipping is not actually free. Nobody gives anything away for free, and no business can survive long on a loss.
The delivery charges are waived if the minimum order amount to qualify for free delivery is met.
Shopping websites (Amazon, Flipkart, Dmart, Bigbasket, Dunzo, Swiggy, Blinkit, 1mg, Pharmeasy, etc.) are charging delivery fees if the order value does not meet their criteria.
In India, logistics costs are very high.
Due to traffic congestion, narrow roads, and fuel costs, delivery costs are extremely high in metro cities and Tier II cities.
Don't buy anything from jio mart. All mrp is itself increased by Rs 5, 10, 20...even 100, 200. Mrp of brands like tata r also mentioned wrongly and increased, never less. Jiomart is a cheat. Complained thousand times to get refund.
Good thing they gave refund ( full mrp by mistake) and i ordered instantly with that money.🤣🤣🤣
Also, they give refund or cashback in wallet and not in source account, which is illegal somewhat.
How can they sell a product above MRP?
Jio faltu hain.
I hope they will bring back Free Delivery again bcuz customers were placing orders bcuz of Free Delivery and if there is no Free Delivery then customers will stop placing orders again 😀

Yes. and there is no specific date and time slot to choose from. they deliver the product at their convenient date and time. Does not matter if you are sleeping in the afternoon and they can ring the bell anytime.
My order placement from Jiomart will now reduce. If I have to pay a delivery charge below 250 then why should not I choose other vendor who provide you option to choose date and time of delivery,
gsurocks wrote:Placing orders for biscuit packet or less amount is not at all feasible . They pay Rs 25 to 30 to delivery boys and customers want to order parle g , dhaniya nimbu mirchi . I dont think this is a wise decision unless they provide the option to choose date/time slot for delivery, if they are charging a delivery fee..

At Dombivali west sales reduced by 75 percent
The main USP was free delivery charges, now customers like me will stop ordering from here, its a loss to the company, oh wait now cost cutting will happen on delivery boys

Once a begger is always a begger .their packaging staff perception never change as they are busy with offline store visitors.they less bother about jiomart orders
