JioMart’s free delivery has always been one of the biggest perks for shoppers to use Reliance's online shopping destination. But it seems that destiny had something else for us as JioMart will no longer provide free delivery to its customers. Customers will be charged a delivery fee of Rs 40 for all orders under Rs 250. Thus, gone are the days when you would get a packet of biscuits with free delivery by JioMart and yes, that is a sad thing.

JioMart is one of the biggest online shopping stores in India and this news is definitely a bad one for all of its users. Launched in 2019, this subsidiary of Reliance has always been a great help to Indian households, providing them with good quality products, faster delivery, and that too free of cost. But now that JioMart will charge its customers a ₹40 delivery fee, things might change a bit.
As reported by @stoptomove in their post here, JioMart users will have to pay a delivery charge of Rs 40 if their total cart value is under Rs 250 while shopping. Though, JioMart will provide free delivery for orders above Rs 250, which changes nothing for customers who purchase in bulk from the company. Now from the brand’s perspective, this move was a much-needed one. We, users, have been ordering many low-value products from JioMart, and getting them delivered for free for so long might have hit the company really hard. So now with the inflation rate and continuous increase in various costs, JioMart had to take this step too.
Thus, as discussed above, users will no longer get free delivery on JioMart and will have to pay a delivery charge of Rs 40 if their cart value is lower than Rs 250. What do you think about this move from JioMart? And I know, a delivery charge always feels heavy on the pockets, and saving money is something that we all need to do, right? Well, let me help you with our JioMart Store Page which has some of the best discounts and offers for you to make up for that delivery charge…sounds good? 3GP data jio free recharge give me please
It was being displayed that I'll get free delivery for first 3 orders. I had ordered below Rs 250. Im the cart also & in check out delivery was clearly shown as free but they thry cancelled the order after 2 week. It was prepaid order. Called Customer care, they told me i need to separately pay Rs 40 without which they aren't going to deliver.🤦♂️
The main USP was free delivery charges, now customers like me will stop ordering from here, its a loss to the company, oh wait now cost cutting will happen on delivery boys
I dont think this is a wise decision unless they provide the option to choose date/time slot for delivery, if they are charging a delivery fee..
I hope they will bring back Free Delivery again bcuz customers were placing orders bcuz of Free Delivery and if there is no Free Delivery then customers will stop placing orders again 😀
Don't buy anything from jio mart. All mrp is itself increased by Rs 5, 10, 20...even 100, 200. Mrp of brands like tata r also mentioned wrongly and increased, never less. Jiomart is a cheat. Complained thousand times to get refund.
Good thing they gave refund ( full mrp by mistake) and i ordered instantly with that money.🤣🤣🤣
Also, they give refund or cashback in wallet and not in source account, which is illegal somewhat.
How can they sell a product above MRP?
Jio faltu hain.
Wise decision from a business perspective.
Shipping is not actually free. Nobody gives anything away for free, and no business can survive long on a loss.
The delivery charges are waived if the minimum order amount to qualify for free delivery is met.
Shopping websites (Amazon, Flipkart, Dmart, Bigbasket, Dunzo, Swiggy, Blinkit, 1mg, Pharmeasy, etc.) are charging delivery fees if the order value does not meet their criteria.
In India, logistics costs are very high.
Due to traffic congestion, narrow roads, and fuel costs, delivery costs are extremely high in metro cities and Tier II cities.
At Dombivali west sales reduced by 75 percent
They take minimum 3-4 days for the delivery of the order and still expecting that people will pay 40rs for this. The store is Just 3km away from my home but still it takes upto 4 days to get the order. Was using jio mart just because of the free delivery.
Atleast JIO gave free delivery for such a long time. Thats all a business can do. never had any issues with returns or refunds till now.
Swiggy, Zepto with such high prices are asking for delivery charges.
Jiomart still >> Amazon grocery + Bigbasket kinds
Who pays 40rs😆, better they shutdown.they don't deliver on time, hopeless customer support.
I think now service will improve as small orders will decrease a lot. So it will be good for genuine customers also
