Netflix Trial Offer Eligibility: Who Can Get Free Netflix for 30 Days?
Netflix Trial Offer Eligibility: Who Can Get Free Netflix for 30 Days?
  • The Netflix free trial is currently available only for selected new users in a few countries.

  • You must be creating a new Netflix account to be considered for the offer.

  • If you're eligible, the free trial option will appear automatically during sign up.

  • If you don't see the offer, it likely isn't available in your country or on your device.

  • The trial is being tested in select markets, so it's not available everywhere.

  • Reports suggest Brazil is one of the countries included in the test rollout.

  • Some eligible users are getting a 14 day trial, while others can access a 30 day free Netflix trial.

  • The offer is not available in the US or the UK at the moment.

.
Why Am I Not Getting the Netflix Free Offer?

Currently, the Netflix trial offer is only available to a limited number of users and in limited countries. Reports say that the free trial offer is not available in US or UK markets. Other countries like Brazil, Japan, Sri Lanka are said to be eligible for the 30-days Netflix trial. So if you are using a VPN, try connecting to these countries and then try.

Another reason might be that your existing device might not be eligible for the offer. I personally tried to get this offer on my phone (have an existing Netflix subscription, signed out to check) but despite many attempts, couldn’t get it. So do try checking the offer from a different device and obviously, make sure you use a new user account email address to sign up.

Netflix Free Trial is a Great Offer but Not For Everyone

Netflix's free trial is definitely worth getting if you're eligible, but the comments on our offer discussion thread shows it isn't as simple for everyone. While some users like kajal.neoo427, freedealszone and CNN activated the full 30 day trial without much effort, many others only saw a 7 or 14 day offer or couldn't access the promotion at all. Several members found that simply switching to browsers like Veera, Brave or using Chrome's Incognito mode did the job. So if you are facing an issue activating the Netflix free trial, try changing your browser or switching to incognito.

Overall, it seems like the offer eligibility seems to depend on your account, browser and Netflix's ongoing rollout, so try out other methods mentioned in the article and it might just work out for you. Netflix says it's testing this promotion to see if free trials still encourage more people to subscribe.
