IDFC First Bank, LIC Cards, and Mastercard launched the LIC Credit Card today i.e. 14th December 2023. It is a co-branded credit card catering especially to Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) policy enthusiasts.

Only LIC policy holders can get their hands on this LIC credit card. It comes in 2 variants, LIC Classic credit card and LIC Select credit card. The USP of this credit card is that you will get reward points for paying the LIC insurance policy premium every time.

Benefits of this LIC credit card include upto ₹50000 lost card liability cover, upto ₹5 Lakh personal accident insurance cover, and complimentary access to lounges (airports and railway stations).
LIC Cards already have 3 variants of LIC credit card with Axis Bank which offer fuel, travel, and insurance benefits. Now with these new LIC IDFC First credit cards, expectations are high for better accelerated rewards and benefits. Also, it is expected that these will be LTF (lifetime free) cards with low interest rates (starting 9%).
