Nothing is a London-based technology start-up created by Carl Pei, who left OnePlus in October of last year to concentrate on Nothing. His business has already completed two significant acquisitions: Andy Rubin’s Essential and Sweden-based Teenage Engineering.
We don’t know much about Nothing, which is fitting. The new technology firm, on the other hand, has done an excellent job of creating buzz around this very reality. The Nothing marketing machine has provided material in dribs and drabs in the run-up to the July 27 introduction of the company’s first product, the Ear (1).

Nothing has been revealed about the ear 1’s pricing, although its costs vary in various regions. The launch date and, unexpectedly, the pricing of the Nothing Ear 1 earbuds have been revealed on Flipkart. According to Manu Sharma, VP and general manager at Nothing, the upcoming ANC earphones would be offered in India for Rs 5,999, which is around 80 US Dollars.

Manu Sharma, Vice President and General Manager, Nothing India says, “India is an important market for Nothing and in partnership with Flipkart, we look forward to introducing ear (1) to Indian users at the same time as our global launch. It is important for us to bring value to our Indian users from day one. Starting with ear (1), our products will be uniquely designed and easy to use. Above all, they will be devices we are proud to use ourselves and recommend to our friends and family,” he added.
The wireless earphones will be available on Flipkart in India on July 27 for Rs 5,999. It’s rare for a firm to announce the pricing of its product a fortnight before it goes on sale. Another thing to keep in mind about the Indian pricing for Nothing Ear 1 is that it is substantially lower than the price in other markets. Nothing creator Carl Pei previously announced that the earphones will be priced at –

Based on what Nothing has revealed so far though, the transparent design of the ear (1) TWS earphones will be one of its main selling features, in addition to the active noise cancelling (ANC) function. The translucent design is one of the ear’s focal points (1), so much so that Nothing has centred its teasers around it, including a film dedicated to it.
The Nothing ear (1) will compete with the Apple AirPods Pro, Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro, Beats Studio Buds, and Sony WF-1000MX4, among other products. The inclusion of ANC should not only give Nothing the push it requires for its launch but should also set realistic the ear (1) apart in a competitive TWS earbuds market.
There isn’t much information available regarding the Nothing Ear 1. The only confirmed feature is a transparent case, which will undoubtedly set it apart from the competitors. We should learn more about Nothing ear (1) as the launch date approaches.
