In a video released yesterday on Nothing's official YT channel, Carl Pei, the CEO & Founder of Nothing indirectly revealed that the Nothing Phone 2A is going to be cheaper than Nothing Phone 1. Nothing Phone 2A launch in India is confirmed and will probably be one of the most buzzing smartphone launches in March 2024. The Nothing Phone 2A launch has been in rumours in the tech community ever since December & January.

Finally, the wait of many is over as Carl Pei, the CEO & Founder of Nothing has confirmed the launch of Nothing Phone 2A in India on 5th March, 5 PM (IST) in Nothing Fresh Eyes Event.

The mid-range phone is expected to boast a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor a 50MP Samsung S5KGN9 1/1.5-inch main sensor and a 50MP Samsung S5KJN1 1/2.76-inch ultra-wide-angle sensor.

In a video uploaded on the YouTube channel yesterday (13th February) Nothing CEO & Founder, Carl Pei revealed some interesting details about the upcoming Nothing Phone 2A. Here are the top highlights of what the CEO & the team revealed:

1. Nothing Phone 2A is going to be cheaper than Nothing Phone 1, said Carl Pei in an indirect response to the question about the Phone 2A pricing.

2. Carl Pei calls out brands like Redmi, Xiaomi, and Samsung on outsourcing “the entire thing” when it comes to non-flagship phones and making these phones for “profits and volume”

3. Nothing Phone 2A will likely boast a clean Nothing OS just like its predecessors

4. Nothing Phone 2A will focus on performance and camera

5. Upon asking if Nothing Phone 2A will have Glyphs or not? Chris said “The function that they provide is really important. We definitely didn’t want to lose those that.” hinting towards a possible absence of Glyph LED lights in Nothing Phone 2A

Nothing Phone 2A is exclusively going to be available on Flipkart. An announcement page on Flipkart about the Nothing Phone 2A launch confirmed that the Phone 2A on Flipkart will be arriving soon. While there are no details on the Nothing Phone 2A launch offers yet, customers can sign up on the Nothing Phone 2A events page and add the event to their calendar for a possible early bird discount deal.

Nothing Phone 2A is going to make its first debut in the Nothing Fresh Eyes event which is going to be held on March 5th, 05:00 PM (IST). The Nothing Phone 2A event will be live on Nothing India's official website and customers might be in for a surprise with an additional rumoured launch of Nothing Earbuds under the CMF brand.

As per several media reports and the Nothing Phone 2A being a mid-range phone, we are expecting the Nothing Phone 2A processor to be Mediatek Dimensity 7200 Ultra and the display to boast a 120Hz refresh rate with an FHD+ OLED display. On the software front, Nothing Phones have always had a slight edge whether it's for their intuitive OS or clean Android experience. Following the same Nothing Phone 2A will likely be based on Android 14.

Speaking about the design, the Nothing team has promised a “fresh and new” look to the upcoming Nothing Phone 2A in India. While some rumoured reports point out an absence of the popular Glyph lights in Phone 2A, the same isn’t confirmed yet.
