After Maxx (utility goods delivery), Handpicked (next-day grocery), InsanelyGood (formerly Supr Daily), Swiggy One Lite, and Minis (e-commerce D2C), Swiggy is back with its new initiative called PocketHero. Swiggy PocketHero promises Free Delivery, upto 60% Discount, and Extra Cashback on select restaurants or food outlets.

Swiggy PocketHero doesn’t require any subscription. It is free of cost, but may be available to select users. The Swiggy PocketHero feature is currently live in Delhi-NCR, Jaipur, Lucknow, and Chandigarh, and will soon be available in other parts of the country.
You will find Swiggy PocketHero beside ‘Offer Zone’ inside the ‘Food’ section in the Swiggy app. On the launch of this new feature, Sidharth Bhakoo (VP, National Business Head at Swiggy) said :-
“Pockethero aims to make food delivery accessible to a set of users who today may find online food delivery less value for money. Pockethero delivers the best of discounts from our partner restaurants and gives free delivery on top of it to give our customers a taste of convenience without having to think much about their pockets"
Swiggy is also planning for an IPO somewhere around July 2024 as its peer Zomato is already listed on the stock exchange. This year it grew around 20% with a GMV of $1.43 billion!
Besides Swiggy Pockethero, you can save on food delivery via 'Offers Zone', Swiggy One & Swiggy One Lite membership, Swiggy Coupons, Payment offers (Amazon Pay, CRED pay, Paytm, PhonePe, Simpl, etc), and bulk/high-value orders.
I can see the banner and listed restaurants under it but still delivery charges are seen in cart.
