I want swiggy membership
Anyone willing to pay half the amount of delivery charges i can place order for him/her let it be any city but yes payment first
Fewer restaurants for free delivery. Reduced discounts on existing restaurants. It has gone downhill.
Even for Instamart, I have started using blinkit for better pricing and quality despite their 9 rupees delivery fee.
This is outdated. They now something called swiggyone..only selected restaurant free delivery
Swiggy is not good now
Now swiggy one wasted membership
@admin 5th March thread still running in Hot Deals ???
Swiggy ne to loot liya…(Sarcasm)
I need monthly plan
Ab aya akal swiggy ka
1 year plans were Good…they are selling delivery at premium… already food prices are Jacked Up
Whatever plan u take, delivery person deliver 2-3 deliveries in one go …so u will always get cold food…never ever purchase swiggy plan…personal experience in CHANDIGARH…SHIFTED TO ZOMATO
I am facing this issue
I placed an order on my mobile and my friends mobile same time-same restaurant, same delivery location, different items (but similar-paneer biryani and vegetable Biryani)
He doesn’t have SWIGGy super and he added a small tip
I have SWIGGy super and I didn’t add any tip
His order got picked up almost instantly
My order got clubbed with another and I received mine more than 10 minutes after his order
Can we use super paln for Instamart deliveries?
I have taken the 5KM 3 months plan (costing 399) for 2 times successively now.
I think it’s not bad because the restaurants I order from have minimum ₹27 as delivery charge even during non peak hours and with this plan the delivery charges for under 5KM comes to 399/30 approximately ₹13/order which is less than half of the minimum price they charge during non peak hours.
I have observed that after doing around 10-11 orders (and still having 20 left), I get email from swiggy that I have recovered the cost of the subscription.
Basically Swiggy now randomly puts high charge in the name of weather, high demand and if someone orders at least 10 times a month without subscription it’ll burn a hole in the pocket
i get fixed charges of 15 per order only so no need of subscriptions
In this pandemic .cook inside your home .do not waste your money
How is it money wasting If someone can afford it Why will he not order ??
If u spend minimum 1000 to 2000 den… Take 3 mnth plan binge – higest plan fr 3 mnths.. loads 5000 to swiggy wallet n u get 500 extra … In 10 days swiggy sent me email u recovered ur plan fee by saving that much..but need to control now on ordering.. i usually do only if saving 50% on entire order. 200 order in 100 rupees… Using 1+1 smtimes and 60%(max120off) off mostly. I think dey will block my account sooner
That’s how one should save by ordering smartly. What makes u think that swiggy will block ur account?
It’s a total waste because restaurant are offering 1+1 on very few items
based on the comments I read so far, every person has different experience in different areas. Initially with free Swiggy Super or even with 149/month it was somewhat ok as the card/wallet/swiggy discount usually meant lower price than actual restaurant costs. I have a friend running a small waffle store and he told whole story. Whenever Swiggy entered new areas/onboarded lots of restaurants for competition/got investor money, they would splurge.. basically translating to heavy discounts, free deliveries, low or no commission from restaurants, good salaries to delivery guys. Investors loose, everybody else happy. Now, all the investors want money back. Swiggy is well established.
So here’s how much you pay (upto) => Restaurant actual price of some dish say Rs 100. They overcharge on Swiggy their commision by upto 50%, our case lets keep at 25% average, so swiggy price Rs 125. Add packaging upto Rs 20. Add delivery upto Rs 20-50 (depending on distance, surge etc). Add 5% GST. Total adds upto Rs 170-200. On top of that lot of restaurants reduce quality/portion size for orders made online (i have first hand experience with 10+ restaurants, even my friend does it). Now there are some discounts that swiggy offer time to time, but to use them, there’s usually a min purchase of 149 and max discount of 60-120rs. Most likely, the prices of these restaurants are insanley high anyways. Apart from a very few and limited offers/restaurants, one will almost always pay more 30% extra on their order even after discount if bought online.
Here’s an example, a South Indian restaurant in my area (a very good one) has swiggy prices almost 70-80% more.. plus they charge packaging per item (even though when clubbed, they save on the boxes) + delivery + GST.. 2 Masala dosa+ 2 vada in restautant costs about 140 (incl taxes), when ordered from swiggy costs 270 (incl taxes, after 10% discount on orders above 249). So, I would have to pay 130 more just for packing+delivery (around 4kms from my house) which does not make any sense at all. The same is true for many other restaurants. Per person veg food cost has shot up from 60(simple south indian)-120(pizza/chinese/pasta)/person to 150-250/person in last one year itself.
Not all restraunts do this GOOD restraunts never overcharge more than 25 percent plus u get 50-60 percent rebate So u are still in profit
Swiggy super is best plan if you want to avoid the delivery charges. 300 rs per month only can be utilized in 10 orders. After that it’s free. Zoma.to is waste still in pro.
But be careful… Creamstone was listed fr only one day under 1+1
Swiggy super is an useless compared to earlier
Unworthy plans for many especially if u were staying at tier 2 & 3 cities
I am actually very happy with the plan becoming useless.real blessing in disguise.
Last 2 years, I got free super with Cred. Hence , food delivery orders were also more. Last couple of months, I have hardly places 4 orders and consumption of home food is the norm. Difficult to have discipline otherwise with so many regular offers and free delivery.
But it is very true that swiggy increases item prices as compared to the restaurant, I have noticed more than once
true, but if you apply offers smartly then final price will go far below the restaurant price.
Swiggy is shit now
No If no But
Swiggy is the worst
Ekdum jhand app h.
Same restaurant’s same dish’s offline price is almost half than the price online😂
So even if you get 60% off you’re in debt.
And yeah please add convenience and delivery surge fee in that too😂😂
This is clearly stupid. Now its better to take one year Zomato plan instead of swiggy.
😂That is a Joke No need of membership The discounts Offered It won’t even cover the membership cost
For me, delivery charge for the restaurant which I order most from is 15 Rs. It’s the same for some other restaurants too. If I purchase 89 plan I have to pay 14rs extra for 5 orders
NO use of these online food ordering. They charge shipping and top of it, they charge more price for each item. walkin to restaurant and order someting at Rs 40, online they ask of Rs 50? then how they are beneficial? Just in case of urgency and not in routine. BEst walk out and save money better…
I don’t know.. Doesn’t sound like NO use of online food ordering.
1) Saves you the trouble of “walking out”
2) Don’t have to stand in queue at the restaurant for ordering
3) Don’t have to wait at the restaurant while they pack your food, looking at the phone
4) once you come home,if you notice they have packed the wrong items, don’t have to just walk out again and argue with the restaurant guys.
5) Same as 4 for, burnt food, uncooked food etc.
6) Weather is not a concern, rain or shine, you don’t have to worry to order online
I am a little tired of typing now, but anyway, you may notice I didn’t even mention the offers, promotions, credit card offers, covid etc.
But I hope you just keep walking out and order directly, otherwise if everyone orders online, there won’t be offers for people like me
Eating out/ordering has become almost 2x since lockdown. They are covering the lost profits or making most of the situation as a large number of small/medium restaurants have closed permanently (so less competition). Prices don’t come down ever. Food prices had temporarily gone up but they are settling down/coming down. Only exception I see is oil, mostly because imports have reduced drastically and all the packaged food companies are stocking up.
Be ready to get even crappier oil based foods in the future. Palm, cotton seed, soy, rice bran, canola, Vegetable oils etc are all crap. These companies will find alternative cheaper oils soon.
Really frustrating…
Elaborate a bit
You can use any one offer only,
for buy1 get1 coupon gets applied automatically, no chance to use second coupon
