No they have again doubled the prices.
From 149/m to now 299/m plus no free delivery beyond 7km range.

I dont think 299 pm is worth as majority of us use swiggy over weekends and 7km beyond construct restricts many offerings

Definitely yes. That’s why I renewed my membership in 149 before this new plans roll out
7km range is surely a bummer, still renewed with the 3 months plan. Let’s see how it goes.

Depend on area which u live From Posh areas good restaurants are less than 5km As in my case I still don’t know why people buy membership just to save 50 ruppees A month U are forced to order from Swiggy if u buy membership If u don’t have membership u will surely save lots of money By making quality food at home
I already received it on the app on 1st of March itself. My last plan lapsed in the middle of February so it was up for renewal anyway.
Where can I find more details about new plans?
They started fooling us now by limitising the number of order and kilometers total waste..

Now enjoy.
Don’t forget to claim buy 1 get 1 from restaurants.
Suppose u order 1 item of 150, then add 1 more, apply swiggy coupon (50 % off) U will get 2 qty at 75/- (in total 300 ₹ item at 75)
Onw simple thing…i can see many restaurants increasing rates by 30 % in swiggy..what is the use if this is the case..in fact its shameful for swiggy that rates in restaurant band swiggy are different.. better to eat directly in restaurant…garma garam instead paying bomb and thanda food
can coupon be applied with buy one get one free or it is like either buy one get one or 50% coupons ?
You can use any one offer only,
for buy1 get1 coupon gets applied automatically, no chance to use second coupon

thanks for the answer. You can use the “Quote” button instead of “Reply” so that your answer goes to the person who asked the question.

Agree, these membership plans indirectly wants us to order more to avail the offer.

This is all privatization model. initially they will offer you discounts and make you dependant on them. Then after 18 to 24 months they will start increasing the fare and bills. Then after 2:3 years they increase quality but will charge you more than what they offer. Then they dominate the market and don’t allow other players to come in.
Best thing is to go back to traditional ways ie placing orders on phone calls directly with resturants, going out etc. Don’t fall into rs 30, rs 100 discount traps. It is their marketing cost to give you discounts and they will stop it soon.
If are not dependant on them, they can not do anything.
Also remember if any resturant offering you high discount, understand that food is stale and reheated. And some low grade resturants offering high discount may give you left over foods. So beware.
Any good resturant will not offer you any discount.
Really frustrating…
Eating out/ordering has become almost 2x since lockdown. They are covering the lost profits or making most of the situation as a large number of small/medium restaurants have closed permanently (so less competition). Prices don’t come down ever. Food prices had temporarily gone up but they are settling down/coming down. Only exception I see is oil, mostly because imports have reduced drastically and all the packaged food companies are stocking up.
Be ready to get even crappier oil based foods in the future. Palm, cotton seed, soy, rice bran, canola, Vegetable oils etc are all crap. These companies will find alternative cheaper oils soon.

Very interesting comment.
Could you please suggest, if you are given a chance to run swiggy/zomato as a CEO, what is the business model you would implement?
NO use of these online food ordering. They charge shipping and top of it, they charge more price for each item. walkin to restaurant and order someting at Rs 40, online they ask of Rs 50? then how they are beneficial? Just in case of urgency and not in routine. BEst walk out and save money better…

I don’t know.. Doesn’t sound like NO use of online food ordering.
1) Saves you the trouble of “walking out”
2) Don’t have to stand in queue at the restaurant for ordering
3) Don’t have to wait at the restaurant while they pack your food, looking at the phone
4) once you come home,if you notice they have packed the wrong items, don’t have to just walk out again and argue with the restaurant guys.
5) Same as 4 for, burnt food, uncooked food etc.
6) Weather is not a concern, rain or shine, you don’t have to worry to order online
I am a little tired of typing now, but anyway, you may notice I didn’t even mention the offers, promotions, credit card offers, covid etc.
But I hope you just keep walking out and order directly, otherwise if everyone orders online, there won’t be offers for people like me

Now it’s a waste after seeing swiggy super membership plans.. Utter waste… Even after all offers applied it’s more than Mrp of food items…
And cons I will tell u…
Mostly we order South Indian, they give sambar, chutney ans sagu very limited like 50 ml but if we directly go 2 restaurant… It’s as much as required
For me, delivery charge for the restaurant which I order most from is 15 Rs. It’s the same for some other restaurants too. If I purchase 89 plan I have to pay 14rs extra for 5 orders
