          Types for Fabrics

The fabric plays a vital role when figuring out which shirt you prefer to wear. Shirts are made from a variety of distinctive materials, and this list by way of no skill covers all of them, however, these are the major ones

          1. Broadcloth/Poplin

There are slight variations between Broadcloth and Poplin, however, they are essentially identical and many people change the name interchangeably. This material is tightly woven which leads to a very even fabric, an awful lot smoother than oxford material or pinpoint. Because of this, broadcloth is a greater formal cloth and is not often viewed as casual. Ties are best with broadcloth.

            2. Flannel

Check Flannel Fabrics Shirt hereThis is one of the heavier fabrics you can get a shirt made out of. Usually pretty soft, they solely get softer the greater they are worn. Flannel is nearly usually worn casually and in cold weather. The majority of flannel shirts have a plaid pattern to them. You should rarely if ever, can put on a tie with a flannel shirt

            3. Oxford Cloth

It is the most versatile material that men’s shirts are made out of. Oxford material is generally a heavy fabric, woven from alternating white and blue yarn. The quintessential ‘all purpose’ shirt, an OCBD (Oxford Cloth Button Down) is the go-to shirt for most people. Many people will suggest that you shouldn’t put on a tie with an OCBD, however, in our point of view, it is suitable with almost everything, including an r blazer. Wearing a tie is acceptable with this. If you are in doubt of what to wear at an event - casual or formal - go with an OCBD and you won’t go wrong

              4. Linen

One of the most lightweight fabrics that button-ups are made out of. It is very breathable, Extremely smooth and will get softer the more it is worn and washed. One drawback to linen is that, due to the fact it is so lightweight, it tends to be a little bit see-through and gets creased easily (remembers Rakesh Jhunjhunwala meeting PM Modi and his look became a meme material).

Linen is usually favourable during summer and is great if you have a brunch to attend.

                5. Pinpoint

Pinpoint is somewhat of a combination between Oxford cloth and Broadcloth. It is made with the same weave as oxford cloth but uses finer yarns like broadcloth. As a result, it works both formally and casually and is a great option if you want a shirt that is very versatile. They are heavier than broadcloth but lighter than the oxford, they will also appear ‘crisper’ than an oxford cloth. Ties are perfect with pinpoint shirts.

                  6. Seersucker

Shirts are a summer staple made from this fabric. Seersucker is characterized by way of light-weight cotton that is deliberately puckered; this rumpled impact lets in effortless airflow and makes it one of the coolest fabrics to make apparel out of. Seersucker is normally a laid-back fabric, and while some people wear them in business casual situations, seersucker shirts are not traditional dress shirts. You generally don’t wear a tie with a seersucker shirt.

                    7. Twill

                     Check Twill Fabrics Shirt here

Twills have a diagonal weave to them and because of this are less likely to wrinkle. They are also quite soft fabric. The weight can vary and it’s a fabric that can work both casually and formally. Ties work with twills.

What are the guidelines to find the Best Fit Shirt for your body?
                    1. The collar should just graze your neck without constricting it. If turning your head causes the collar to turn with it, the collar is too tight. You should be able to comfortably fit only two fingers inside of your buttoned collar without it tightening against your skin.

                    2. Your cuffs must meet the point where your palm begins (about 2cm up from your wrist bone). It should be tight enough that your thumb notch at your wrist will stop the cuff from moving up your hand. It should be a bit looser than a properly fitting watch, and not go farther up your wrist than that watch.

                    3. The shoulder seam needs to be at your shoulder bone. This is the point where your shoulder ends.

                    4. Sleeves should not be so tight that you can see the details of your arm, but they should also not be so loose as to billow or unnecessary space. When you bend your arm, your cuff should not move more than an inch up your wrist.

                    5. When you fold your hands behind your head, the shirt should not come out of the pants. If it does, the armholes may not be high enough. Alternatively, armholes should not be tight around your shoulder or cut into your armpit.

                    6. Shirt length should be such that you can bend and make natural movements without it coming out of your pants.
