Xiaomi has just launched its Civi 2 smartphone with some interesting specifications and a very familiar design, if you know you know. This new mobile phone by Mi has a punch-hole display that looks a lot like Apple iPhone 14 Pro’s Dynamic Island. Also, this is the World’s first smartphone with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. So Mi fans should be happy to get a similar design for a lesser price, right? Woah Woah, hold your horses right there! There are a few other things that you need to know.

Xiaomi fans and the entire Android market knew that the first brand to make an iPhone 14 Pro-look-alike Android mobile phone would be Xiaomi only. Here comes the newly released Mi Civi 2, a smartphone that is probably the first of its kind. The biggest highlight of the device is its selfie camera setup, which is even marketed by the brand a lot. Let’s talk more about this mobile phone next.
Xiaomi Civi 2 with Dynamic Island Display as the iPhone 14 Pro
Xiaomi has introduced its Mi Civi 2 smartphone and its design is something worth looking at. It comes with a punch-hole display that looks a lot like the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Though, the design is just for show on this Mi phone as it does not have any software capabilities like the real thing on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. The Civi 2 by Xiaomi is more similar to the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus.
The S10+ also came with two front cameras like the Civi 2 and had no extra features that are used by Apple to justify their latest iPhone lineup.

The Civi 2, with its two front-facing cameras, is more of a selfie expert and the brand promotes it the same way. Also, you would be pleased to know that it has a curved display…looks like the trend is making its way back to the market.
Xiaomi Civi 2 Full Specifications
The Xiaomi Civi 2 runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, which makes it the first smartphone to run on this latest midrange SoC. So as for its performance power, it’s a bit difficult to gauge this chipset’s capabilities without testing it first. Though, you can expect it to perform better than the Snapdragon 778G chip.
The phone also has an AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. For those who love curved displays, the Mi Civi 2 can be a good option.
The main highlight of the Xiaomi Civi 2 is its selfie camera setup that comprises two 32MP cameras and 2 LED flashlights. The primary camera is a 50MP sensor at the back and it is paired with a 20MP wide-angle lens too.
The Xiaomi Mi Civi 2 also sports a 4500 mAh battery and comes with a 67W charger.
Xiaomi Civi 2 Will Not Launch in India
The biggest thing that we all must keep in mind is that the Civi 2 is not going to be launched in India. To be clear, the Civi smartphone was also not launched in our country though it was just a normal smartphone without any big differences. But the Mi Civi 2 seems to be an interesting phone that deserved to be introduced to the Indian market but sadly, that won’t be happening now.
This is everything that we know about the Xiaomi Civi 2 so far. Let us know what you think about this device in the comments section and feel free to ask any questions too.
