Flixbus Cancellation Policy, Refund, Luggage Limits, Fees & more

Ticket & ID Requirement: Passengers must carry both a valid ticket and a photo ID, and show them when asked during random checks.

Penalty for Traveling Without Valid Ticket: Fine is twice the regular fare for the distance already traveled (minimum ₹5000), plus fare for the remaining distance. If distance can't be verified, charges are calculated from the starting point of the route.

Schedule Changes & Delays: Minor changes (under 2 hours) don’t qualify for compensation. Major delays or changes allow free cancellation. For cancellations/delays over 120 minutes or overbooking, passengers can either continue the trip via another Flix route or claim a full refund plus a free return to the starting point.

Arrival & Boarding: Passengers should arrive at least 15 minutes before departure. Delay notifications are shared via SMS/email if contact details are provided.
