You know what. I also had got the ambrane one. It would not charge even when I kept for charging for 1+ Hour. So i kept it overnight from charging and it charged fine.
Problem is that the display percentage is faulty. It is totally wrong. I used the ambrane once, recharged my phone and tablet and the percentage was 64%. As soon as i removed the tablet connected, it showed me 32% and it still charge my another device 100% with battery percentage at 32% still.
Do not believe that display number.

I am ok with spending more money for a good quality genuine product. Considering anker now.

The displayed percentage is completely non-linear. Mine stays on 62% for a long time, even when it is actually discharged to approx. 40%
I don’t really care, getting about 8000mAH usable charge at Rs. 675 was VFM enough for me
