Vu,good deal, placed order for one last night, current out for delivery should be getting them in an hour now. Awesome service by Flipkart.

Guys please pour in your reviews after using the piston earphones. Everyone has different taste when it comes to music and it would be a good to hear everyone’s opinion .

Looks beautiful though and 5 mins which I spent listening to it all I can say at this price its definitely not worth it . May be MI should consider reducing the price to Rs 400-600 max.

But thats just first impression will hook it to my ipod 5g in the night and see how it performs.

Thats what even i though after first few minutes of listening. Use it for a couple of hours and see the magic.

And I never had 10k karmas it was less than 2k don’t know how it shot up to 7.5k

got these headphones yesterday. they are really good! im not an expert in headphones but i can say the sound quality is simply amazing even though i havent burned them completely. and the bass is good too!! i was previously using xperia headphones which were really good and i dint expect these to be far beyond them. but they are . thanks for people who helped with info. really satisfied with these headphones. especially cos i cant hear a thing beside me now

Thanks for the review buddy. And yes agreed with you regarding the noise isolation part. I literally cannot hear a thing when these earphones are plugged in and music is playing.

It seems the choice of gadget was bad during first encounter.
This sounds brilliant. Rightnow using it with my ipod and the sound is rich, deep and vibrant.
Bass is good too.

Need time to get hang of it.

Definitely worth the price.

same happened with me. when i initialyy tried it, it wasnt much different to my xperia heaphones and was a lil disappointed, but i gave it some time like cybertechie said and by evening they were sounding amazing. starting to listen to known songs in a different way. the sounds i never heard with other headphones.

Only Xiaomi product which is avalaible and not out of stock, probably too costly as compare to phones of same brand.

I don’t think so. Any headphone that performs like this one should easily cost double imo. So just like their phones, half priced.

These are Effin maazing. trust me guys, i have used Brainwavz beta, Pl3,ES18 and Sennhieheiser mx17, i would say piston 2 is hands down the best headphones i have ever used.; from build quality to quality of audio. damn its impressive. iam noticing details in songs which i have never noticed before with my previous headphones. Damn i really wonder how xiaomi manages to dish out high quality stuff at such a throw away price. btw iam using mine with mi3 without any sort of enhancements. infact the dirac sound brings down the quality of audio in mi3, switch it off and listen . its effin amazing

These are Piston 2.1,upgraded version of piston 2,
better than piston 2 in look, sound quality and functionality. .

Do think before u write, by da way i have both.

for bass piston 2.1 sound best in general earbud setting with hiphop.
or u may use poweramp application for awesome quality

for bass use with general earbud setting with Hiphop.
sound quality is clear n crisp, 1st time listening to words which never heard with other headphone and mind u this is my cheapest headphone. Awesome headphone for the price we are paying.
for optimum use, use poweramp application.

I disagree. Its sounding great in MI piston 2 setting rather than having no setting.

How to know if mine is 2 or 2.1. I ordered from the first batch. Its gold color and i can see 16 ohms written. But how to know if it’s 2.1
