piston 2.1 has metal clip inside the case (clothing clip)
piston 2.1 ha CD design like small hole on earphone.
In 2.1 — 16 oms rather than from 13-16oms

Flipkart is selling piston 2.1 and Gold color only.

This is an unbelievable set of earphones (and with mic too). Always wanted to buy the Klipsch S4a as they are amazingly good but they were always expensive and build quality was shoddy. This one on the other hand -

• Amazing build quality
• Awesome packaging (I would say the packaging is 450 bucks in itself)
• Sound quality is wonderful (details are extremely crisp with punchy bass too)
• The gold colour looks snazzy too
• PRICE IS JUST UNBEATABLE

That’s the thing, we find amazing quality stuff all around the world but at a price that’s bargain chip. I cannot understand how Xiaomi literally does business but as a customer, just couldn’t be happier.

Just because someone is not active in posting does not mean he is newbie and also it does not mean that if I can spend 1k on headphones does not make me rich and I should not look for best offers that I can get. In fact I got to know about this from this same site. All anyone saying is its VFM for what it is offering. If you can spend that much take it and enjoy it else buy something you can afford and enjoy.

I m partially agree with you. Headset is somewhat overhyped. Though for 999 its not bad deal if you are want headphones with microphone

I received mine piston today. The only words for this piston are Just Awesome at this price point. Anyone who is confused for the quality of piston, I suggest Just Go Get it. I am Happy to have this ear phone.

What kind of maturity are you portraying about yourself when you say we were bribed by flipkart to post these reviews? If you don’t know what good earphones are take a look at websites like head-fi and see the reviews people are posting about Xiaomi pistons from all the over the word. Now, are you going to say those people are also bribed for posting their reviews?

Most of the people over here are sounding like fanboys because this product is perhaps the best earphones they have tried. I have owned many earphones and i can tell you these are the best one’s at the expense of sounding like a fanboy. 999 is not a throway price but this product definitely is VFM at that price tag.

Now before you start accusing anybody of bribery , just remember, you are making a Joke out of yourself in an open forum and just for your info i’m not a newbie. I joined this forum 3 months before you did.

Dont get emotional. I never even read your comments . I just read someone writing “throwaway price”and that’s what I pointed out to. I have no intention of hurting anybody. My first impression was not that great either but then last night I used it for longer duration and it was an amazing experience. It gives a whole new experience. At this price its a real steal deal.

I don’t like spending much on earphones & headphones as I occasionally use them so don’t have idea how 3k, 5k, 10k headphones perform but now when I got this I am not even considering anything else. Mi Piston rocks

yes bro, my order with 3 items worth 5500 was not delivered coz my phone which I had given them was switched off (sim issue), even though the payment was made in advance. And I was at home to receive the items…

Received them this morning at home, was out the whole day , just started listening to it. IEM is just amazing. One of the best I’ve heard. I’ll share my impressions comparing this with Skullcandy s2ttdy033.

yes these are over hyped,but are great in the price range,if one wants better output then burn-in for 50 hours,i am using tekfushion burn in palyer. Output has improved after 12 hours of burn-in.
