Harrowing experience with 99 labels

My experience with 99labels is same or even worst.
Ordered something, received some thing else after a month.

Returned, now waiting for a refund for more than a month.
Im done with this pathetic store. No more shopping from 99labels.

I have over 1000 rs worth order with them shall i go to the consumer court

@akshanu0507850 : Man, 99labels shamelessly lies for months together when it comes to refunds.I think I got it in record 25 days at best coz for others as for what I have read, it takes them at least 2-3 months and that too after consistent persuasion and follow through, while some others have quit asking for refunds after trying for months together and that too to the tune of thousands of rupees coz they can’t do a thing about it and 99labels knows that. I suggest you to pester them every single day by sending them the same email every single day till they refund you your money, trouble them on chat and on phone call(toll free). Also I could upload those pics for you on your behalf.Keep us posted!

Man! You shouldn’t have had returned those items back. Now they have both your money and your product as well. I almost know what is in store for you ahead but I’ll let time take it’s course instead. Good luck man! You you come out of it neat and clean.

I placed an order and those people cancelled the order and told me i will get refund in 7 working days…I think im going to be one more victim then…

Oddly enough, I’ve had no issues with them Got my product within 20 days of sale closure.
Though they never inform about shipping details etc.,so one fine day you’re sitting and your product comes.

Worst experiences I had was with Yebhi…

These cheaters are only earning via Dimers ka paisa. I also have lost money over there.
99labels should be suspended from DD afterall, Dimers will fall in their refund trap one time or the other and seriously its not good for the DD community ie : letting people watch their money go. We are here to save not to loose .
however, the case can be a bit different for many….but also think about those who are seriously having trouble waiting for their refunds …

Admins and Mods : Can we have a poll to suspend 99labels deals here on DD

Many won’t accept and support the above fact…Thats Ok as I don’t agree with something which someone above said that he had his worst shopping experience with yebhi. But it hurts when it comes to masses.
If a topic is opened regarding failures in getting refund from 99labels. I guess, the comments tally will even cross what DD got in the fb 100off deal. ( )

1 more point : I have read reviews from some senior DD members (specially usa11 bhai and mraj146 bhai) here ( http://www.desidime.com/forums/dost-and-dimes/t... ). I can be wrong but still this is worth giving it a try.

So please all Dimers are requested, and thus expected to provide their view regarding this.

For me 99labels have been one of the best sites so far.
Never really had any major problems in Quality , price and overall service. I also always like there variety and exclusivity of products.
Delivery of coarse is slow but since it’s already mentioned , I am prepared for that.
Refund issue cropped up few times but being a regular buyer I didn’t mind getting 100% usable credits instead of cheque or bank transfer , it was within few days. But yes , when I initially asked them that my option for the refund is through bank transfer or cheque , I was told that it will take long time and insisted that I opt for credits. CC person even told me a lie that cheque option is not at all possible and I will be forced to take credits only. This was totally unacceptable and very wrong on there part. Later I took this concern with some senior staff and was assured that fast refund will be made if I wanted to and in my bank ( which I opted once and was done within 7 days ) They do not send shipping details / AWB which is another negative and worst as this creates chances of goods being misplaced or wrongly delivered. Recently I made a complaint about this matter but doubt they will improve upon this which is a simple procedure followed by all the sites. CC is slow and few of there staff are not professionals in handling the complains. They do have many negatives but most sites I purchased with have some.

Overall I have placed over 65 orders with them so far and I can easily claim that approx 60 orders went without any problems. For any problems I face now , I don’t even bother to email or phone there CC and instead email/phone directly to there senior managers.

Banning them on DD I am against banning any site on DD. Instead warnings should be placed on front page of totally proven fraud sites. I don’t feel 99labels is one of them as they are not fraud and there are plenty of satisfied dimers with 99labels and if we talk about unsatisfied dimers , there are plenty of unsatisfied dimers with plenty of other sites like 70mm , timtara , bagittoday , koovs , FNY , DNY , yebhi , fashnvia , indiaplaza , HS18 , indiatimes , letsbuy , babyoye , fetise………..list is endless.
Among the sites I have experience , I can single out Fashnvia as 1 of the fraud sites. and by the way it’s going , Timtara seems to be becoming another.

btw………..my buyings with 99labels is much lesser now as all my credits have dried and new ref system started just on 23rd Jan is bad ( 599 credits for min purchase of 1800 ) which will further ensure my less buyings with them from now.

Bhai everything @ 99labels is so costly that one will get at half or 2/3rd the price at yebhi.
Shipping and CoD charges are also so hiked up. No site takes Rs 75 for the name of shipping and that too when one will get it ATLEAST after 20 days.
Also, they aren’t providing any good credit points these days and as far as I think, they neither will. As it was just a promotional stuff for a better beginning. Its just 2 yrs old venture. They dnt hav any xperience nor do have any co-operative CC or staff. My Talks with their CC had been very rude and horrible. Dnt knw where hv info edge wasted their 3.5 million
The number of frequent 99label users like u are less. Majority here will be unsatisfied by their services.

Leave the topic of banning them from DD. Do they even deserve to sell.

First of all………………..Do not compare yebhi with them. Yebhi is nowhere near to them and I didn’t wanted to bring them into the topic about 99labels. I have posted enough about SHIT yebhi and can go on and on and create another long paragraph about there pathetic CC , late delivery , wrong items delivery , pathetic quality , late refunds , high prices , volatile pricing , fraud tactics , spamming by email and sms in spite of several complaints , etc but don’t want to waste more time. And if you talk about experience , than yebhi is much younger and there older company dealing into shoes was a total failure which gone into fraud tactics and forced to close down and open under new name yebhi to hide there past frauds.
Please do not expect any further reply from me on yebhi. I have no more time and energy to waste on SHIT yebhi.

If you feel 99labels prices are high , my simple reply will be you don’t know what to buy !! I am not a fool to make 65 orders with them in spite of being active in online shopping forum like DD
COD charges are not on each and every item and one time flat per order. Can be avoided by making advance payment. Shipping is high if total order worth is small but again flat at Rs.75 even if total order amount is high. Free shipping taken place during Diwali time for many days and also recently. But anyway I agree if need to pay 75 shipping and 50 COD , it’s mostly not worth if total order amount is under 1500 before using credits and that is the reason I refused you to take your 400 odd credits. I mostly make the best use with them when they are out with free shipping ( to order in other accounts like I just did recently with points exchanged with Bling bro and extremeshopping ) and my own account as it is has free shipping being a Club99 member.
They do have 20 working days shipping policy but good part is that at least I know that in advance and prepared for the same. 70% of my orders have been received much earlier than 20 working days , 15% in approx 20 working days , 10% slightly late and 5% cancelled. I am quite happy with the same as majority of other sites have neither always stuck to there commitment about delivery. I have been promised 2 days delivery by some other site but correct goods never received after receiving & sending back the wrong item twice , wasting lots of phone call money and was being made to chase for refunds after 40 days. No prizes for guessing the site

They are not providing any good credit points these days and you feel they neither will
No problems Bhai. We are not married to any site neither any site can force us to buy from them. Many other sites were giving 66% discount or 50% discount from time to time but not now. Still we buy with them for 30% or 40% when we still feel the price and product to be good. Same way 99labels are giving 33% now instead of 50%. I do hope they will accordingly drop there selling prices. Even if they don’t , If I still like the product and feel the price is good , I will buy from them. Same I guess goes for all the shoppers buying from any of the site.

No refunds : I have received all refunds for any cancelled orders and cannot comment anything else about why some dimers facing problems. One thing I can tell for sure is that they are not frauds. If they were , they will not even pick up phone calls like fashnvia or timtara. They do have toll free numbers as well and you can chase them daily with regular phone calls for your refund. Pain in the A$$ is when you are unable to reach them totally or phone calls are put on lengthy holds when you are paying the tab for the phone.
Anyway , if I can be of any help to get your refund back , do let me know by pm with your order number. I do not promise instant refunds but at least I wouldn’t let them eat up your hard earned money.

If they didn’t deserve to sell , they wouldn’t have survived 2 years.

@Ramz, Actually I had a vague idea in my mind before returning the goods that my money would not be returned. Still took the risk, it was a return pickup from 99labels, so took the plunge.

Till now I’ve shopped with countless Online shopping sites, worst experience remains with FASHIONANDYOU & 99LABELS.
Having heard similar stories about FETISE, TIMTARA, KOOVS, etc. I decided not to buy from them.

Keeping safety in sight, I’ve decided to shop with known stores.

Also not shopping with Brandmile & Theprivatesales anymore. Not had a bad experience per-say but do anticipate…

The problem is everytime you follow up they tell you some or the other reason for delay, when i posted the chat transcripts on facebook they ban you, their support even on facebook is pathetic, and the most hilarious thing with them is they tell you that they do not have stock of goods after 1 mnths of the successful transaction which is against sale of goods act., When they put something on sale and you purchase it which doesnt show out of stock while making a purchase it means that your product is withing the threshhold of orders, so how come if you have booked the order goes out of stock and they try to buy time without informing you, is this the customers responsibility to follow up or the sellers responsibility to dispatch the product when the payment is received, i think the only way that you should purchase is COD and no other payment should be provided to them, I ve sent a letter to head of HDFC Neeraj to stop their gateway services lets see

I have also sought legal help which will give us full refund and the damages faced when we approach the consumer court

i had a good experience with them. all the products are genuine. they take almost a month to deliver but that’s fine, because they say it in advance that they gonna take 20 working days.

99labels is my preferred site to buy. so far, my satisfaction rate with them is cent percent. touch wood.

They are not the only site to cancel any orders.
In fact all the sites cancel the orders when it’s not possible
to ship due to some or the other reason. Besides they do not
stock the goods and vendor has to supply the goods after the
closure of the sale and that is the reason delivery is 20 working
days and of coarse a suspense for them also : Not only when goods will arrive from
the vendor but also if goods will pass there QC or not.

99labels is an exclusive Club concept site and no doubts they are best
among those kind of sites. Such sites are not for everyone

1) 99labels does not provide the exact model no/style on the site. Sometimes the product shown in pic. is not the real one.

Though strongly agree with your point 3 ,
If we talk about the order averages , only my orders can outweigh all your combined orders.
They are not couple of good experience.

If we talk about customer averages , percentage of satisfied customers of 99labels
will be much much higher than plenty of other sites here on DD. 5-10 people having bad
experience doesn’t mean ban a site. For almost every site , you will be able to find 5-10
unsatisfied customers here on DD.

Anyway , I am not supporting 99labels for any of there wrongs and hope they rectify there bad points fast.
Few of them being , though I am affected with the first one only :
1) Inform about shipments through sms/email.
2) Faster refunds for people opting refunds by cheque.
3) Improve upon there CC , which actually most of the sites need.

Many sites create refund problems from time to time. Koovs , fashnvia , 70mm , bagittoday , yebhi did to me and many others have suffered from plenty of other sites from time to time. Shall DD go ahead and ban all those sites ?? What will be left

I was talking of the customer averages, not just yours:lol:

See I & others who have bad experiences with 99labels have written here to caution fellow dimers from falling into a pit. We never asked for a site Ban or any such thing. Now if still someone wants to go ahead & make orders with them, our best wishes. Our job was sharing our experience cautioning others.

There’s really not a need to support 99labels because we have our own experience that would keep us away from them. Next time if I come across, I will show you their listing, where a listed product does not match size/price/model.

I can also show you my mails transcript which I sent them, order details & refund appeals if you don’t believe.

Just saw your rant against Yebhi on another thread. Now I’ve had some pretty great experiences with them but that doesn’t push me into defending them. A person who has had a bad experience, has suffered at their hands, knows better.

What I’ve done now is that I’ve starting shunting out crappy sites from my list. From own experience, I’ve ousted FASHION&YOU & 99LABELS.
From reading experiences of fellow dimers, I’ve shunted out Timtara & Koovs.

At times it pays learning from others experiences, at others you burn your own fingers to realize!

I can’t understand how you are taking out customer averages ?? Just by few posts here

Let me explain, if 6 dimers say 99labels is not good & 2 say its good, what is the ratio/average now? I would certainly go with higher figure.

I do take reviews by fellow dimers seriously, a reason for this is that I do not want to take chances with my money. Each has to choose their own path, I try to learn from others experiences too.

When it comes to Yebhi, I’ve myself had wonderful experiences with them, so no-matter what anybody say, I would continue to shop with them. At the same time I respect the views of people had bad experiences with them & sympathise with them. So, Im not defending any site, just putting forward my own experience.

Let me explain, if 6 dimers say 99labels is not good & 2 say its good, what is the ratio/average now? I would certainly go with higher figure.

I am sure you know that all the dimers do not post there views in all the threads.
And I mentioned that percentage of satisfied customers will be much higher than plenty
of other sites.
Anyway , as already said , no more time to waste.

I think USA is somewhat promoting 99 labels, or at least defending them, all i wanted is to share my experience and tomake other dimers aware.

I have better things to do than promoting 99labels here on DD
I do promote them at places where I can get referral credits.

DEFEND : Yes , I have tried defending them on many aspects.

You are right in sharing your experience , so am I. But you have not really
read or understood my posts very well. I have not contradicted about your refund
matter anywhere and agree with you regarding that. They are slow and lazy with
refunds ( from what I learned from my fellow dimers and also experienced once )
but at least they are not frauds and I don’t think you will need to visit consumer
courts for your Rs.1000
They have there few negatives but loads of positives outweigh there negatives
making them one of the few best sites to buy with.

and lo they have cancelled another subsequent order quoting they didnt get the stock, then why put anything on sale and confirm the order for an order placed in december they come to know tht the stock is not available in 1st week of february,

And yes its not a question of 1000 rupees, its of trust and honesty and also promptness,After all it our hard earned money, may be someone doesnt have any worth for his own money or they get it for free
