Airtel has launched a credit card in partnership with Axis bank.
The card will come with a fee of Rs.500+gst.
Key features of the card include:

25% cashback on Airtel Mobile/DTH recharges, Airtel Black and Airtel Xstream Fiber payments
10% cashback on Electricity/Gas/Water bill payments via Airtel Thanks app
10% cashback on spends with preferred merchants – BigBasket, Swiggy, Zomato
1% cashback on all other spends
Amazon e-Voucher Rs 500 on card activation within 30 days of issuance
Cashback for transactions done through Airtel Thanks App has been capped at Rs.300 per month for each category (airtel bill payments and non airtel bill payments).
Cashback for preferred merchants has been capped at Rs.500 per month.
Cashback for all other spends is uncapped.

Cashback Terms & Conditions – Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card
Definitions: For the Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card, the following terms shall, unless the context otherwise admits, shall have the following meanings:
- Cashback shall mean money awarded in the customer’s credit card account under the cashback scheme.
- Preferred Merchants shall include certain merchants on which the cashback earnings shall be 10%. These merchants can change at the bank’s discretion.
- The cashbacks will be processed according to the following table:

| Airtel Mobile, Broadband, WiFi and DTH bill payments via Airtel Thanks App* | 25% |
| Utility bill payments such as gas, electricity, etc., via Airtel Thanks App* | 10% |
| Preferred merchants* | 10% |
| All other merchants/ other spends | 1% |
Capped at Rs.300 per month
** Cashback shall be eligible on spends made on Preferred merchants – Swiggy, Zomato, & bigbasket. The total cashback is capped at Rs.500 per month across all merchants. Preferred merchants and their respective offers are subject to change from time to time without any prior notice.
- Cashback shall not be eligible for following spends/transactions on the card,
- Fuel Spends
- EMI transactions
- Purchases converted to EMI post facto
- Wallet loading transactions o Purchase of Jewelry items
- Cash advances
- Payment of outstanding balances
- Payment of card fees and other card charges
- Rental Payments
For eg. If the customer spends Rs. 30,000 in a billing cycle with the following break up of spends of Recharge through Airtel Thanks App: 2500 & Utility Bill payment through Airtel Thanks App: Rs. 2,500 | Swiggy, Zomato & Bigbasket: Rs. 5,000 | Other spends: Rs. 20,000. Out of these “Other spends”, Rs. 10,000 was an EMI purchase. Thus, the total spends eligible for cashback would only be Rs. 2,500 + Rs. 2,500 + Rs. 20,000 – Rs. 10,000 (EMI transaction) = Rs. 20,000

Chalo i also called axis bank number 1 – 860 – 419 – 5555 and got my card upgraded
I just said “I heard that Axis has launched a new Airtel co-branded credit card and i want to know if im eligible for upgrade” , he said yes and upgrade was done within 5 minutes, after he mentioned all the benefits to me.
Existing axis bank prestige account holder and now have 3 Axis Cards.

- Axis Bank Flipkart Co-Branded Card
- Axis Bank Airtel Co-Branded Card
Limit is low though , 80000 Limit was shared between 2 cards
now it will be shared between 3 cards i guess, does axis take requests for separating the credit limits?
Why bro it’s not our DD username same our journey to axis cards in chronically order also . Just you got 80k instead of 70k.

Strange , when I am calling customer care from my registered number it is connecting directly to customer care agent after I select credit card from IVR and not asking for my card details to authenticate and the agent told there is no cards linked with this number 😉

Axis is the worst brother. I receive notifications on Mail address A but Axis Customer Care says my registered email address is B.
Do they have a toll free customer care number for axis cards not the 1860 one?

Does this mean, my existing card will be upgraded or a new card will come up? Customer service says the latter but I’m not sure how much they know either.

One year gap between 1st and 2nd. Now 1 year completed for the second card.
FD card is SBI simplyclick is it possible to convert it into normal card. Also SBI issued me a pre-approved BPCL SBI CC without income proof.
If ur not using or card is not rewarding u can close the card (only one year gap). Credit score will definitely improve in the long run.

As for as the information which I got, We have to apply and get the card approved.
Later we have to confirm our employment details thru official email or share employment payslip to get the card converted to LTF.

Was going thru my phone today morning, Found the t&c of this card downloaded on the very first day, (ie. 07mar), which is having perfect clarity and correct details of CB calculation. I dont know why they have edited it. Axis things ….
I am into elite 15k axis club and want to apply for this card, can anyone have knowledge that if i get limit enhancement in my other card and this cards limit will also be increased or every card has wait for its own limit enhancement? Or should i wait for limit enhancement first than apply for this card
Also this cards banner is showing in my airtel thanks app but no apply link since i have 20 years old relationship with airtel and afaik in co-branded cards brand relation plays a significant role should i apply from airtel app for better limit?
If you apply on call., you will get same shared limit. Limit enhancement is not related to new card. If your basic limit increased on request, it will be across cards. On application through airtel, you might get better limit but no surety.
