Cashback Terms & Conditions – Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card
Definitions: For the Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card, the following terms shall, unless the context otherwise admits, shall have the following meanings:
- Cashback shall mean money awarded in the customer’s credit card account under the cashback scheme.
- Preferred Merchants shall include certain merchants on which the cashback earnings shall be 10%. These merchants can change at the bank’s discretion.
- The cashbacks will be processed according to the following table:
Spends on | Cashback |
Airtel Mobile, Broadband, WiFi and DTH bill payments via Airtel Thanks App* | 25% |
Utility bill payments such as gas, electricity, etc., via Airtel Thanks App* | 10% |
Preferred merchants* | 10% |
All other merchants/ other spends | 1% |
Capped at Rs.300 per month
** Cashback shall be eligible on spends made on Preferred merchants – Swiggy, Zomato, & bigbasket. The total cashback is capped at Rs.500 per month across all merchants. Preferred merchants and their respective offers are subject to change from time to time without any prior notice.
- Cashback shall not be eligible for following spends/transactions on the card,
- Fuel Spends
- EMI transactions
- Purchases converted to EMI post facto
- Wallet loading transactions o Purchase of Jewelry items
- Cash advances
- Payment of outstanding balances
- Payment of card fees and other card charges
- Rental Payments
For eg. If the customer spends Rs. 30,000 in a billing cycle with the following break up of spends of Recharge through Airtel Thanks App: 2500 & Utility Bill payment through Airtel Thanks App: Rs. 2,500 | Swiggy, Zomato & Bigbasket: Rs. 5,000 | Other spends: Rs. 20,000. Out of these “Other spends”, Rs. 10,000 was an EMI purchase. Thus, the total spends eligible for cashback would only be Rs. 2,500 + Rs. 2,500 + Rs. 20,000 – Rs. 10,000 (EMI transaction) = Rs. 20,000

Me waiting for the first email statement of this card
Can anyone help me understand max cashback possible per month, and how to achieve this. Please ib if you dont want to share publicly.
I have paid ebill (pspcl)
Merchant name is UTILITY CC, i will get cashback 10% na ?
How to see merchant name before bill payment ? And how to get merchant name as ABPUTIL ?
FOR ABPUTIL use airtel app version 4.46.2
And let the transaction get settled to check real merchant name for category Cashback if setels with airtel mumbai then 10% assured
Just received my first email statement. Unable to follow how they calculated the cashback amount. But it is more than expected so not bothered much
how we can apply for this card, in airtel app no. option
All the utility bill transactions seems to have been tracked under 25% category since it shows Airtel Gurgaon IN on the statement.
Yeah same issue
1st Statement generated.
received 25% cashback for Broadband
10% cashback for gas. 😃
Cashback showing as 1121 (Actually it sud be 1090).
Looks like they gave June cashback separately and then one more time combined with July cashback as well. So two times June cashback credited.
They have considered my airtel transactions in moto category and not given 25% and 10% cashback it seems - anybody else on same boat - your airtel bills are considered in which category ?
Same... How do I raise a complaint?
Guys, I paid the light bill via the airtel thanks app - it is still not processed after 2 days and today is the last day of the same - what to do? no way to raise a complaint too for non payments bank customers
