Airtel has launched a credit card in partnership with Axis bank.
The card will come with a fee of Rs.500+gst.
Key features of the card include:

25% cashback on Airtel Mobile/DTH recharges, Airtel Black and Airtel Xstream Fiber payments
10% cashback on Electricity/Gas/Water bill payments via Airtel Thanks app
10% cashback on spends with preferred merchants – BigBasket, Swiggy, Zomato
1% cashback on all other spends
Amazon e-Voucher Rs 500 on card activation within 30 days of issuance
Cashback for transactions done through Airtel Thanks App has been capped at Rs.300 per month for each category (airtel bill payments and non airtel bill payments).
Cashback for preferred merchants has been capped at Rs.500 per month.
Cashback for all other spends is uncapped.

Cashback Terms & Conditions – Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card
Definitions: For the Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card, the following terms shall, unless the context otherwise admits, shall have the following meanings:
- Cashback shall mean money awarded in the customer’s credit card account under the cashback scheme.
- Preferred Merchants shall include certain merchants on which the cashback earnings shall be 10%. These merchants can change at the bank’s discretion.
- The cashbacks will be processed according to the following table:

| Airtel Mobile, Broadband, WiFi and DTH bill payments via Airtel Thanks App* | 25% |
| Utility bill payments such as gas, electricity, etc., via Airtel Thanks App* | 10% |
| Preferred merchants* | 10% |
| All other merchants/ other spends | 1% |
Capped at Rs.300 per month
** Cashback shall be eligible on spends made on Preferred merchants – Swiggy, Zomato, & bigbasket. The total cashback is capped at Rs.500 per month across all merchants. Preferred merchants and their respective offers are subject to change from time to time without any prior notice.
- Cashback shall not be eligible for following spends/transactions on the card,
- Fuel Spends
- EMI transactions
- Purchases converted to EMI post facto
- Wallet loading transactions o Purchase of Jewelry items
- Cash advances
- Payment of outstanding balances
- Payment of card fees and other card charges
- Rental Payments
For eg. If the customer spends Rs. 30,000 in a billing cycle with the following break up of spends of Recharge through Airtel Thanks App: 2500 & Utility Bill payment through Airtel Thanks App: Rs. 2,500 | Swiggy, Zomato & Bigbasket: Rs. 5,000 | Other spends: Rs. 20,000. Out of these “Other spends”, Rs. 10,000 was an EMI purchase. Thus, the total spends eligible for cashback would only be Rs. 2,500 + Rs. 2,500 + Rs. 20,000 – Rs. 10,000 (EMI transaction) = Rs. 20,000

I was booking a cylinder from Airtel app and it showed a pop up to save transaction related details and by mistake I opted for it. Now when I am trying to pay any utility bill from Airtel app the merchant name comes as airtel payments gurgaon which I guess will never fetch me cashback. Anybody knows how to resolve this issue??

Doing a bill payment on airtel app is very pathetic. I have tried 5 bill payments and only 1 got suucessful in last 1 month. Usually refund itself come in 2-3 days but this time its already been 3 days and still no refund 😞

Hi, got this card 1 week back. Had a couple of queries, couldn't find answer in wiki or some 20-30 comments that i read
1) swiggy 10% cb offer is over & above normal codes like 60% off on food items?
2) Is it valid on swiggy add money & Instamart transactions?
3) Any code to apply on bigbasket for offer? Or any minimum order condition? Couldn't find any offer on bigbasket app for airtel axis

i tried paying my electricity bill, money debited and showing success but not processed after 2-3 refunded, tried again but same thing happened.. also tried fasttag recharge again same thing money debited but no processed and refunded back to card..
airtel thanks app is very bad in tracking transactions and customer support can't even get details on these transaction even after providing referance no and all..

Indane cylinder bookings are never getting success. The airtel app is very pathetic. Money gets refunded after 5 days. No way to even track the status.
Also booking through GPay/ACE card combination goes through without any issues.
Cashback can be seen only on generated bill but for individual transaction cashback earned is not available.
What do no now guys

I think Axis likes me , never complained about missing cashback. They just add it automatically every next month as "Additional cashback for XXX month" 😂😂. This month cashback tracked perfectly for me.
