For investment purpose, Govt Gold bonds are much better, one can buy upto 500 GMs per year and rates are also subsidised by govt for 1 gm 999 purity – approx 2900 only. Also one gets 2.5% interest on the value. Last subscription date for the current bonds are 28th April and can be done at post office also. It gets release time to time, so if someone can’t get it now, they can wait for the next issue.
