AU Bank has launched a new LTF credit Card – AU Lit
Card has no joining or annual fees.
Reward Rate is interesting as you can pay to get the reward rate you want on the card.
Reward structure is as follows:
1Rp = Rs 0.25
Base Reward Rate(Free) : 1 Rp per 100 Spent
- 10x Rewards : 10 Rp per 100 spent chargeable at 299+gst for 90 days(Has to be purchased separately for offline and online transactions)
- 5x Rewards : 5 Rp per 100 spent chargeable at 199+gst for 90 days(Has to be purchased separately for offline and online transactions)
Cashback features are also available on this card which offer 5%/2% cashback over and above the Reward points accumulation on meeting certain spends criteria in a month (Also a chargeable feature i suppose).
5% cashback is available in 2 ways:
Category wise and General spends.
- 5% cashback category wise can be bought for categories like dining , travel , grocery etc for Rs.299/90days with no limit on number of transactions in that category.
Max Cashback in 30 days : Rs.1000(3,000 for 90 days)
- 5% Cashback number of transactions wise is also available for Rs.299/90 days and allows transactions of any category to be eligible for 5% cashback.
Max Cashback in 30 days : Rs.500(Rs.1,500 for 90 days effectively)
- 2% Cashback number of categories wise is available for Rs.199/90 days and allows transactions of any category to be eligible for 2% cashback.
Max Cashback in 30 days: Rs.1,500(Rs.4,500 for 90 days effectively)
Cashback earned is automatically adjusted against the dues on the Card.
Multiple cashback and accelerated Rp features can be enabled at once by paying the respective charges which can bring the net reward rate up to 10% or more as per current info.(Assumption)
Non retail transactions such as fuel , cash withdrawals , rent payments and payments to political institutions etc are not considered for rewards.
Memberships are not free , but paid.

What’s this mean ‘ Rs.299/90 days’?

Not technically LTF.
Got Vetta card few months back on card to card basis but the limit they reduced to half, thought of LTF but it’s chargeable. For joining fee waiver I spent 40k and need to spend 150k for next year waiver.
This above LTF LIT card is just for namesake and can be used in sale periods, other than that, it’s simply you give some and I will pay some type brain game.
But if you get their saving account, within three months they start calling you to opt for pre-approved base cards, their approval is fast and they issue to any person even with out income proof and even with few transactions in account.
Do they give LTF pre-approved base cards?
If anyone apply this card through me than i can pay Rs 500 extra on approval.
I had applied for an AU card and an IndusInd card through bankbazaar around 2 months back. Did Vkyc for both on the same day, IndusInd received within 15-20 days, AU still showing ‘Application under review’
Any way to check serviceable locations?
Go to there website and select the Branch Location and check if it is available in your area pincode. @Dileep_kumar @Razerist all bank does this whenever you enter Your PAN Number and when you receive the OTP then definitely it will make a CIBIL ENQUIRY. So,always check this most bank does deliver the credit card where they are not available so he careful

It is not Mandatory.
But if we apply as a Account holder, high chances of approval (which is followed by many banks).
Also account age should be min 3 months (it differs from bank to bank).
As my case LIT card is not showing for apply. Other chargeable cards are available.
You can also self refer just search youtube for au credit card refer but keep in mind this offer is through a third party app that’s why i my skipping refer

thats there with every bank unless you have a salary account. But this cost can be offset easily with amazon load, swiggy, bigbasket offers to name a few. The discount on swiggy and bigbasket is almost condition less and works on anything unlike other bank offers.

Applied for AU Lit card & it was showing 6L as limit. Completed video KYC..Let’s see when the card arrives!!
Just need it for offers..Don’t think will pay anything for any extravagant schemes that these guys are showing!!

When no good offer coming folks r just keeping busy with this kind of useless offer 
Applied and VKYC done, executive said I will get confirmation mail/sms within 24 – 48 hours. Limit is same as highest mentioned in CIbil. Also Cibil Hard Enquiry done as I got SMS saying that there has been change in Cibil score.

Can someone here share in more simple terms (no offence to @tanmayyy ) will i be able to earn cashback or reward points without actually spending as i haven’t seen much offers on au credit cards in recent times except few offers on swiggy, zomato, bigbasket etc
