I have regalia first credit card LTF, upgrade available to MC WORLD INFINIA INTL…written anuall maintenance fees zero … should i upgrade ?? Whats benefits over regalia first?? Can anyone help pls

If we upgrade the card, does the card number remains same or it changes? I mean the credit card account remains active or gets closed. (As it will have impact on CIBIL)
Card number will be different. The series of each card is different across providers.No impact on CIBIL. Your account will be the same. The old account will automatically change to new number.
I think these upgrades in high numbers may have its impact on the exclusivity of both DCB and Infinia.
Around two years back, they started issuing lot many Regalia and Regalia First cards and all the airport lounges were filled with Regalia/First cardholders. This forced the lounge operators to stop giving access to these cards.
When such mass upgrades provided, such things are bound to happen. So these cards may not be as valuable as of today after may be another 6 months.
I currently have regalia first. Is a upgrade to regalia worth? I only spend around 3 lakhs a year

talked over phone to CC customer care. Confirmed the same and recorded it and upgraded over the phone call itself
This is millenia credit card on diners network which is not a upgrade according to me it’s a downgrade
Did you see the offer in Netbanking?
I am not able to see the offer in Netbanking and CC also said I am not eligible for upgrade.

If it is Ltf either of them is good. The only problem with dcb is that it’s acceptance is a bit less.

Just 2 hours back,I was seeing the option to upgrade to Regalia First.Now it is saying “This page is temporarily unavailable.Kindly try after sometime.”

I had no confirmation OTP / Sms / email either. Regalia to DCB on website.

After around 24hrs, I received a message that my old card will be deactivated by 4 Mar or when I use my new card….
Few of friend have also got bluedart dispatch message..

I do not have HDFC bank account, I have an only credit card so I logged in HDFC Credit Card portal and clicked Credit Card Upgrade in the left side panel and I don’t see any free upgrade option. My current card is Regalia. Did anyone get above offer in Credit Card Login portal?
Nope, this is showing only for hdfc NetBanking login. Nothing is coming up for creditcard login.

@Dimers – Pls be careful bcoz charge for Annual fee for Infinia is 10,000 plus tax after a year. I am getting an option to upgrade to Diners Black LTF, but upgrade to Infinia is 1st year free, after that it is charge-able!!!
BTW – upgrade to Diners Black has been offered to me since October but I haven’t upgraded yet.
