Got a call from card protection plan and the guy told that my card is approved. As usual I was not interested, still I kept pestering him with details,
How can you say it is approved. Give me my limits. What card do I have? whats my card ending no. etc..
It felt so nice bombarding a tele caller with queries, which he had no answers for.

on 8th sep i got this sms "11 working days time to process"
on 12th sep i got sms " 9 working days "
sbi is really slow. even after becoming a separate company, sbi will be sbi only afterall the roots are of the bank only
What is the process to apply for Cashback Card through Sprint if holding Simply Click card? What documents do they need? Is it instant process or need to provide KYC again?

i called cc.I got the 9 days message. They told me card is approved with 1.37L limit. I am existing user of sbi card.I cannot see new card details in the app.Guys try to call CC they may help you to know if your card is approved or not.
Got this from agent after 11 day sms recieved. Told on verfication that I don't hold any other sbi cc.
Had to redo kyc and then got the esign message yesterday and today, got the email that 11 days needed to process the card.
Had applied for BoB and this card and both these PSUs have made me realize how inefficient they are. Am an existing SBI card holder and didn't face any issue first time around but this time, they have tested my patience. Lesser said about BoB, the better, as they visited my office and house twice before finally approving today. Didn't face this much verification even while applying Big loan.

Hi, I got physical kyc done today. They just took a photo and signature on a form. But they mentioned variant is cashback card though the form doesn't contain that option. I hope that is fine. I confirmed on the application number entered in the form with the one I got from the sprint portal. The tracking page also shows now as submitted. Can someone inform if there is a specific number from which the call would be coming for verification ? Also I hope they would call again in case it is missed once. Thanks.
I applied for this card on 5th Sep and someone came for physical KYC on 9th (SBI sent a SMS with his name and number in advance).
He did Aadhaar KYC through OTP as well as Biometric.
He asked me to sign an application form and another form "Customer Declaration in lieu of Current Address Proof" (attached) which I signed because I was getting late.
Later I realized I should not have done this because my address is same as mentioned in Aadhaar.
Now I am worried. Should I be really worried? What steps should I take to safeguard myself?
Yesterday I got another message "Thank you for your interest in CASHBACK SBI Card. Our representative
XXXXX Singh, Mobile No. 98xxxxxxxx will get in touch with you
shortly. SBI Card." It is a different person.
And today I got a SMS "We have received your SBI Card Application. Pls give us 11 working days to process your App.No. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. The FIRST_YEAR fee on CASHBACK SBI Card is WAIVED. You can track your application status online at www.sbica...om
I also got a call from SBI (+911204670100) on 10th September to verify my details.
No need to worry.
Bank people get additional documents signed as a precaution so that when they are going to submit your file, they don't have to reach you again if something does not match.
SBI guy did as he was told by his seniors "SAARE KAAGZON PAR SIGN KARWA KAR AIO!"
