SBI Card launches first-of-its-kind 'CASHBACK SBI Card'

Wondering why no one is sharing virtual card generation link As if it'd share their card details, I'd have shared it by now if received.

Pls share idea for virtual card

the total cashback will show in the app once the transaction is reflecting as settled under unbilled txns. 

usually a transaction is settled in 2-3 days from the date of transaction. 

so i spent ₹4000 on 19th sep and it was in process for 2 days and today morning on 21st sep , i could see it under settled transactions. the cashback summary for all the transactions in settled category will reflect on the app. 

but to my surprise a transaction of ₹4000 done on income tax website (using kotak gateway) earned me only ₹40 cashback (that is 1%) only. 

in the terms and conditions, it is nowhere written that transactions on govt websites will not accrue accelerated cashback. only offline and utility payments are categorised as 1% cashback . the transaction which i made is neither offline nor a utility bill. i used it to pay income tax. 

another transaction done yesterday on state govt website to pay vehicle tax of ₹700 . lets see if that earns 5% cashback or not. will come to know tomorrow..

incase if it doesnt work on any govt website then there will be limited uses of this card as i am sure it might put insurance , etc also under utility bill payments category thereby giving 1%. we need to do hit & trial whether amazon gift card purchases giving 5% or not.. etc. too many hit & trials and then only queries will be solved. lets see.. will keep posting

abhinav i will make a transaction today midnight. after that transaction is settled after 2 days.. i can tell u whether 5% extra cb is given or not along with the discount.

I got the reply from the customer care team after sending the mail to nodal officer. The parroted line that the application is rejected due to internal policies is mentioned with any exact reason. And in the end they are asking to apply again

Anyone got the card even after getting message as rejected?

A colleague got this card a few days ago with 3 lakh limit. When he tried to buy above 40k, his card was blocked due to suspicious activity! It is unblocked now, but CC confirmed sich high value transactions will be blocked. Wonder how they expect people to earn 10k cashback a month by doing small transactions!

If you are waiting to pounce on any big value item on Amazon using this newly received card, be ready with a back up plan. SBI hasn't disclosed how much is high value transaction, and there is no way a user can alter the limit.

Got the Welcome message and when I go to app/website, it is throwing above error. Anyone faced this and any solution apart for waiting for sometime. 

Physical KYC done on 9th. 

Verification call done on 12th and lady said another Physical KYC will happen in two days to confirm the residence and other stuff but no one turned up despite getting the message with executive details.

Yesterday received one more call from SBI asking to confirm basic details like Address, Company name and designation.

Today received Welcome to SBI family message but when I try to see virtual card, it is throwing error. Message says physical card will reach in 5 days. 

PS : I already hold SBI IRCTC card from 14 months. And location Bangalore.

The card isn't working for Amazon 10% discount bank offer. I tried it late night, but discount was not there.

Its my First SBI Card got only limit of 20000. Used 15K on first day @ amazon.

Anyone got referral benefit yet? I got one sms today regarding 500 voucher, but it's code is starting from TX. Amazon says invalid code. Any idea?

just received message from SBI cards related to 500 amazon referral voucher but that voucher is not in format what amazon accepts for gift cards. Any idea how can I add it?? Format of code is TX followed by 10 numeric digits like TX1234567890
