Amex Self - Account A/C Supplementary card

I wanted to segregate my spends on Amex Gold Charge and so i wanted to apply for a supplementary card and saw the option of Self - Account. Can someone confirm do we get the card with our own name embossed and do we need to do KYC for the same?

I tried customer care at first and to my surprise they had the textbook reply of how to apply a supplementary card and to my query they said you can try to apply for self supplementary card and if you have further query you can reach out to us. I anyways applied the card and did VKYC. Just awaiting approval.
By default I got two gold charge cards from amex
It’s not by default! While applying for Gold Charge you get an option for additional card in your name to segregate your business expenses. You must’ve checked that check box and so you got 2 cards
