Note - Don’t apply online as people are getting Classic International card instead of platinum. Visit branch and apply there.

Update 07 Sep 2022: Do not apply for canara bank rupay platinum debit card now as waiting period to get the card is at least 4-5 months so no point as one needs 3 months just to recover annual charge of around 300(250+gst) & there is no guarantee amazon offer will extend beyond 31st March 2023.
After how many days card will get delivered after applying through net banking.and should we block the already linked card to account.

After account open – Apply RuPay Platinum debit card through internet banking, go to cards option (if cards option not showing on net banking then open through laptop/desktop browser).
Select RuPay Card type and then Domestic + International, you will receive by default Canara bank RuPay Platinum debit card, some dimers already confirmed, they receive RuPay Platinum debit card
when i apply and opened my canara bank account,? they send me classic rupay platinum debit card but i wanted a rupay platinum card and i still have classic rupay platinum only, please sugges if i will apply in net banking will i for sure get platinum rupay or not? and what will happen to old classic card??

Next day Canara bank RuPay Platinum card showing in internet banking, card number start with 6082.
If syndicate bank merge with Canara bank then RuPay platinum card number maybe start with 6522.
you can block your old RuPay Classic card from your internet banking.
How can I access net banking of canara?

I applied Rupay card from Canara bank internet banking by selecting Domestic + International and today card reflecting and first 4 digits are 6521. Can anyone confirm, if it’s a Rupay platinum card or normal Rupay card?

6082 is Canara bank RuPay Platinum
There is 2 cards showing in my account. starting with the following..
1.) 6082xxxxxx
2.) 6521xxxxx
is it rupay platinum.
I don’t know why it’s showing 2 cards in my account. I just opened the account yesterday and applied only Domestic + International card once. Lets see.. how long they will take to deliver cards
People getting two cards, My opinion
Card gets applied by default when we open account . It can be 6082 default card.
Other card might be International Rupay card applied separately

Update. Don’t apply for add on card for canera Bank. You will get only classic international varient. Go to branch and apply.
Already Applied…now what to do.. @abhishek012; told us the process to get card..now what other ways to Cancel card otherwise have to pay 200+gst & 50+gst…

Before accepting a new card request canara bank should show the annual charges for the card variant being applied. By this way we can determine if this is the card that I need. But since it being a psu I don’t have any hopes of it and because of this I lost 250 odd bucks
