Seeing lot of Hike in Cooking oil from 3-4 months. The Sunflower oil I used to get At RS.110-120 now cost at RS.130+. Let’s discuss which oil you switched from whom?  I am about to switch to rice bran oil considering in budget . Around 120 rupee.

Rather ladies folk are going to small businesses/ person who takes out oil from seeds in front of customer.

Cold press oil, mustard, sesame, groundnut, others.

And besides packaged brands, now they are buying even costlier ones… as those guys neither have economies of scale, nor intention to charge fair price.

Although it is fresh and cold pressed, but for that.. those people charge minimum70-80 rupees more than packaged sesame oils!

When price of regular oils were on fire, EVO oil was stable. I keep on stocking as n when get a deal. Right now 15 ltrs in stock. Doc advise 1 ltr per person per month of edible oil including butter etc.
