How to extend range of Jio fiber? Currently I have connected single band TP Link WR740n in wds mode. Other than low speeds there are frequent connection drop.

you can wire to to your tplink router too in a diff spot to get better connectivity, will be far superior than wireless mode.
However nothing better than a mesh. Also when you go for a mesh network, if you want highspeed throughout, remember to look for Gigabit Ethernet Ports. Otherwise even if you have high speed fiber, you will be limited to 100Mbps due to the source LAN port being slow in the first mesh device.

Login to Jio's router and set transmission power to 100%, it might solve, did for me. I forgot where the option is, search in the search bar with keywords like ipv4 ipv6 etc and see.
