what is short term view on :

They have a face value of Re1 and band of Rs 218 to 230. Isn’t it that someone who will buy will be in loss as the face value is just Re1.

Please clear my doubt.

This is further to our letter no. TCSiBM/I89lsEl202l-22 dated January 12, 2022, informing the decision of the board of directors of the Company to buyback up to 4,00,00,000 fully paid-up equity shares of face value of {l each at { 4,500 per equity share for an aggregate amount not exceeding  I 8,000 crore (“Buyback”).

The members of the Company have approved the Buyback by passing a special resolution through postal ballot. Kindly refer to our letter no. TCS/BB lsElzlll202l-22 of even date intimating the results

of the postal ballot.

Pursuant to Regulation 42 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations,20l5, as amended, and Regulation 9(i) of the Securities and

Exchange Board of India (Buy-Back of Securities) Regulations, 2018, as amended, the Company hasf ixed Wednesday, February 23,2022, as the Record Date for the purpose of determ ining the entitlement

and the names of the equity shareholders who shall be eligible to participate in the Buyback.

TCS Update

People must be feeling like being trapped in TCS.

You can clearly see that the stock has been respecting 5 period EMA on monthly timeframe since 2021. The momentum is most likely to continue in future.

50 EMA has been destroyed in daily timeframe. It looks really week. 200 EMA is still intact but stock is trading near 200 EMA. 200 EMA is highly unlikely to be breached. Most likely the stock ll touch n bounce. But it won’t bounce to 4000-4100 levels suddenly. It ll trade between 3700-3900 range for next 2-3 weeks. 

TCS buyback offer is for 4 crore shares n it’s a tender offer. Tender buyback offers are good. So, operators ll tempt existing investors to leave the stock so, be careful. 🙂🙂🙂

please don’t invest in fmcg right now, with high inflation in wholesale market companies are under pressure to manage cost. either they increase price and sales decrease or profit margin will be reduced
