Dear Cardholder,
This is to inform you that Reward Points accrued on transactions eligible for Instant Discount and Cashback offers will be forfeited as per T&Cs of the Offer Program. Reward points will be forfeited for all transactions done during offer period and considered for Offer computation.
In case a cardholder does not have adequate Reward Points balance at the time of forfeiture, an amount equal to the deficit in the Reward Points will be debited from his / her credit card account.
In case of any other query, would request you to please contact the SBI Card Helpline at 39 02 02 02 (prefix local STD code) or 1860 180 1290.

Can't win disputes when there's no truth in our claims. Got to be very careful with the emails sent to nodal officer + CS-Head since we got to attach these conversations on ombudsman portal. What you guys can do is forward both offer tnc links to SBI nodal officer & CS-Head and question the missing reward points/reversal reference under amazon terms (SimplyClick ineligibility for 10x RP is there) and subsequently file complaint with RBI

Around 1500rs deducted from my ola card, and I have been only booking ola cabs with this card, and also no cashback accrued for this december at all.

Why is it amount + reward points? Are they deducting reward points or charging the amount for reward points? I have ola card, deducted 32rs., Not yet able to check on reward points. The app is failing to load.
today morning raised a req. for closure of simplyclick as recently deduction of charges and reward points, they are offering LTF and reversal of all the charges and reward points. already made my card as LTF in the month of sep.

I read somewhere that first you need to complain with nodel officer and if issue is not resolved after 30 days then you can complain to rbi ombudsman

I got my Statement and approx 1K RP revoked and charged Rs 30 in the statement. I am closing this shitty card now. Apay ICICI and FK Axis are way better and lifetime free too.

Got a debit of 200. Applied for cancelation of the card. Got 500 returned for retention plus they returned the yearly fee. Fayda ho gaya.

They told me that they can't do anything and I should try reaching Nodal Officer. I replied them that I would close my card in that case. They said.. pay your dues and "F#ck off"! That's the crux!

SBI is worst. In September Amazon offer of no cost emi, Amazon gave instant discount for emi interest
But they are still charging interest in full amount. I.e. for 8200 Amazon gave 430/- discount because of interest. But SBI interest and principle still counts above 8800. So their interest free offers are also fake

What is the complaint category that you have used? I believe the complaint category plays an important role in cases with the ombudsman.
Well my reward points for loading money in Paytm wallet using SimplyCLICK were thankfully not forfeited, nor was I charged anything but what SBI card is doing is very shitty and unprofessional. I got Amazon gift card by redeeming those points but anyway, I closed SimplyCLICK last week, because they had offered me SimplySAVE + ₹1000 gift voucher in November 2022. But this reward points forfeiting is wrong and they should let it go for what is essentially THEIR mistake. Instant discount reversal or debiting money straightaway in exchange for reward points is extremely wrong.
While completing the offer form in Nov itself, some shitty technical error occurred on the page where I opt for the additional card and do eSign authentication. They didn't do anything about the error, extended the offer till Dec 31 for everyone but didn't fix the technical error in my case or give any gift voucher so I closed the card in a fit of rage for not caring about customers.
Cost of using SimplyCLICK for a year definitely recovered + around ₹650 cashback/Amazon vouchers worth in reward points or direct cashback. SBI SimplyCLICK was my first ever credit card, pre-approved at the branch due to me being at that time a high net worth SBI customer.
Now I got 11 other credit cards in 1 year but cut all my ties with SBI - closed all SBI credit cards and also moved all huge FDs away to other banks giving higher interest, plus moved my primary savings account to another bank as their YONO app decided to kill all Android phone support if the phone is running anything older than Android 9.0 - the only bank forcing people to upgrade their phone for one app. Plus the SBI JCB card isn't working for RuPay offer since forever, hotlisted that too. I've begun to hate SBI for all this.
I have raised a complained.Once I get the reply I will go to consumer court.
There is little hope that RBI Ombudsmen would help. They will go by the rule book. Legally, there's little to do. If you are lucky, you may get the refund by the SBI.
Amazon Great Indian Festivals T&C Page Reads: (circulated early September 2022)
"As per Rewards Terms & Conditions, Reward points accrued on offer eligible transactions done between 22 Sept’22 to 03 Oct’22 will be forfeited. Reward points will be forfeited for all transactions done during this offer period and considered for Offer computation. At the time of forfeiture in case the Cardholder has inadequate Reward Point balance, then an amount equivalent to Reward Points to be Forfeited will be debited from the Card holder’s account."

The ombudsmen will be open to the interpretation by the SBI, since they had already notified about the changes prior to the sale.
If there's any chance of getting the refunds, its through SBI. Try convincing the Nodal Officers if you may. Play any trick you have up in your sleeves. But, there's no surety that you'll crack the pot.

OMG.. they took out 500+90 rs and 659 rewards for my flipkart transactions in the offer period.. cheap move by SBI ..
And those were my relatives transactions.. already gave them as discount..
Hope they didn't do it with cashback card.. otherwise it will change all my calculations for discount
Request all concerned to raise complain through their app, portal or email and escalate to the topmost officer. Why should a customer suffer for their mistake. All they provide is RPs/vouchers for most cards and now debit cash in return, which is totally unacceptable.
