No way, card issuers can deduct equivalent RPs / statement credit for a discount offered by them + shopping site, this contradicts their forfeit terms too),
Some said cashback card being debited too, I am still waiting for my debit to happen though. Just worried that it should be the 5% CB reversal rather than 10% instant discount.
Like Vasstav mentioned, these debits could be linked to Flipkart or some other site (not amazon) but if they did for amazon transactions too (Sale period ones*) then its gonna be very easy to get back the RPs + compensation through Ombudsman
Lost ₹285 + 1692 RP
Now my confusion got resolved! ICICI Amazon pay card is way better than any other credit cards in India!!
Request all concerned to raise complain through their app, portal or email and escalate to the topmost officer. Why should a customer suffer for their mistake. All they provide is RPs/vouchers for most cards and now debit cash in return, which is totally unacceptable.
