In a bid to offer a digital payments platform to its users, India Power Corporation Ltd launched BharatPay RuPay Card.
Prior to this, the company had already offered e-payments options through PayTM, M-Pesa and Bill Desk and the launch of BharatPay RuPay Card as yet another offering.
“Customers will also have the freedom to withdraw money with the BharatPay Card,” said Sanjeev Seth, Chief Executive Officer, India Power Corporation.
Formerly known as DPSC Limited, India Power Corporation Limited offers power distribution and sustainable power generation within a diversified portfolio.
The company handles a distribution franchise in Asansol-Raniganj, West Bengal and also taken over the business in Bodhgaya, Manipur and adjoining areas.
BharatPay is a brand owned jointly Digicard Services Pvt. Ltd and Kanoria Foundation. It is a fully integrated technology-based platform aimed to provide various Financial Services via digital mode to its users. BharatPay has collaborated with various Financial Institutions for offering these services.
BharatPay is currently operational across 11 states with more than 50000 retail outlets functioning via its network of distributors and business partners.
