i sorted out mach city ibike, firefox voya, btwin riverside 120 and montra timba. All except btwin is gearless(i prefer, buy once and enjoy always, geared bicycle is expense) .

is it useful buying geared cycles if you are only going to ride them in city on flat roads?
For flat roads single speed cycles are okay, but if there’s any flyover, geared cycle would be of huge help.

Few days back I saw Tata Stryder HBX 100 getting at ₹14k, since I was looking for hybrid cycle but that didn’t interest me much. Steel frame, no disc breaks, microshift gears and Wanda tyres. For that price you can go with Waltx Trak 3 (https://www.choosemybicycle.com/en/bicycles/wal...), it has alloy frame, Shimano tourney gears and disc breaks for around ₹1.5k more.
P.S.: I bought Montra Chord, amazing cycle 😍 if you can shell out ₹10k more.
