Independence Day Sale on Amazon in 2026 is around the corner. Typically, the Amazon Great Freedom Sale starts in the 1st week of August. However, the very first sale banners get teased much early on. This year, expect the Amazon Great Freedom Sale 2026 to start from 1st August and the sale would likely get announced by 24th of July. The Amazon Independence Day Sale event usually has two phases. The first phase (usually offers the biggest deals) lasts from 1st to 5th Aug or 8th August and the 2nd phase of the Independence Day Sale begins on 13th August and lasts till 17th August, as per last year’s sale timeline.
Last year, we saw the Amazon Great Freedom Sale (main sale event) begin on 1st August and end by 5th August while the Flipkart Freedom Sale ended by 8th August. This year since sales are starting early, for example the Prime Day Sale started on 4th July (almost 2 weeks early), expect the Independence Day Sale on Amazon India to begin early too.
If you are planning to shop in the upcoming Freedom Sale on Amazon India, make sure you keep your SBI Credit Card with yourself for a 10% instant bank discount.
