2020 prime day had useless deals. Not expecting anything from amazon. It is useless. Now they gained markets share so don’t expect them to give you a free lunch. Pay more to buy anything…. one guy is already selling all including your grandson/daughter life to these useless giants by his retail arm. All prices will be balooned soon. Expect to pay 4x to 7x more than the local stores… obviously most of the retail stores will be closed very soon rage

They will create a monopoly soon and command the prices that even brick and mortad stores can’t afford to give nor make profits

Online sites are at surge, and everything at its extremes is addiction and have bad impact on us.
It’s not like it doesn’t have initially, actually they have compensated those shortcomings by giving us cashback and offers. Now as they offer less we have to live with the shortcomings. And for now shortcomings itself is the offer.

Monopoly? Flipkart is there. Other niche players are there. Khota bai is coming with akyu and kyumart.
Just because discount get reduced….. ultimately everyone for profit. Naah? Take the jio model… anything he did differently?

Deal Cadet Deal Cadet

Is Amazon reducing offers? Are the offers not as lucrative as earlier? The answer can be yes. But for that matter all the e-commerce player have charted the same path.

I remembered how dumers looted Paytm for thousands in recharges. All are gone. It used to have some cashback for sure. Now only chance to win something. Remember Mobikwik? It used to give real cashback. Now? Only points which are named as super cashback. Flipkart deals were never that lucrative at least for small ticket items.

I see the tone and tenor of a few dimmers on this thread which exhibit some kind of hate for Ambani. But Flipkart also brought Walmart. And there was no hate. I would like to thank him because I used to pay ₹300+ for a GB of data before that AVoId looted us.

Monopoly is also being discussed. But Flipkart, Paytm, Tata Cliq… many are doing business.

All business are done with a goal to make profit. If that is not the goal then it becomes NGO.

And no one is forcing us to buy from Amazon or for that matter from anyone. It is a free market, go and buy from wherever you like.

It was not hate towards bhai. He manipulates things to cripple others. Look at history. Jio itself. He throttled other networks with calls and managed TRAI to ensure inter connection charges are not increased. Fines for call drops.he is using BSNL networks for free. It’s our money, nations money. KG basin gases, nations money. Not everything is black and white. You know how Mumbai airport rights have been transferred to Adani from GVK.When bhai wanted to enter online business like Amazon etc, do you know what laws govt. brought in. But the same govt. did not do any when snapdeal was bleeding.

Never can a monopoly survive with huge margins. Wherever margins become huge competition comes in. The only way to sustain a monopoly is to have thin margins and high volumes. See what happened to telecom.

Sorry to say but your view is skewed and biased. Not sure whether you know this about how AVoId and their cartel throttled Jio’s entry. They didn’t even allow incoming calls from Jio. Trai also sided with them. Dialing a call from BSNL to Jio was greeted with non existant number. Ultimately Jio had to fight it out in Supreme Court.

The cartel played every trick in the book to scuttle Jio. They looted public for years. I have seen ₹10/min of incoming call and ₹350 for a GB of 2G data. They manipulated all systems and even managed to get licenses illegally. The saga of their manupulation of systems and exploitation of aam janta were are well known. And those who are in knows do not have any sympathy towards any of the AVoId and BSNL.

Suggest to check the facts and hate those practice where required, not those torch bearer who invest, revolutionize, and benefitted the consumers.

Shifting goal posts such as Ambani to Adani, from retail to gas, Amazon to government… confirms the bias towards a community. And rather than a desidime post it looks more like a political view building exercise.

wow. false spread faster than truth.
1. they did not . they had to upgrade infra due sheer free volume calls. They were not expecting as there was no sale of spectrum hence call drops. It was managed by the so called. Think did bhai revolutionalise or just wanted others to collapse dumping cheap china phones. Remember jio never worked on normal phones(I know its LTE, but don’t get into it,). Then came entry of redmi, oppo etc into india market. sit back and think yourself.
2. others in the business were there and bought 2g,3g and paid. What bhai had nothing just blessings from top.
3. If you were businessman would you give and manage such network for this low prices? everyone is making loses, but cartel has super CC service. Now look the same so bad CC of each and every telcom. cartel idea was to give quality service. It will not be cheap. Now even if i call cartel CC they don’t even care as tattal understood india needs cheap goods not good and better service
3. I still stick bhai used/using govt. infra which is our money and throwing peanuts in the name of freebies.

look at the examples i quoted on how bhai eating public money in other sectors to spread wings. KG basin, did any court dare to go against?

i don’t know how you build your perspective, i have been following bhai since 1999, his market moves and studied. No news paper/article dare to write. Even he tried to throttle and tried to supress voice by a deal with facebook (about news in jio phones) after his telecom success which was opposed.

It looks very nice when capatilists invest, thye offer lucarative goods but once you go into their hands you will be another pakis or srilinka or combodia.

bhai bhai when things turn differently.

Playdime says – “… Did any court dare to go against?….” and many other things.

When Afzal Guru was convicted for parliament attack there was a section of society and political parties who casted similar doubts and aspersions on country’s judicial systems. Their idea is that what they think is only right. For them their view is supreme and they continueed with their propaganda. They belittle anything and everything including the judiciary if it doesn’t suit their agenda. Even today they can debate on why Guru was innocent!

Thankfully, the Aam Janta still have trust and confidence in many things happening in this country including judiciary.

There will always be some sections of society who will think differently. And that is the beauty of a thriving democracy. However, I.dont think dimers have time and energy to bring such people to mainstream.

The thread started off to discuss Amazon’s Great Indian Festival. Let’s not hijeck the thread to spearhead any kind of hate and form a public opinion.

@Admins, my humble request is to move all the political discussions on this thread to the “Politics and Social” group where we can celebrate the democracy. And can also discuss China, Airport, Trai, KG Basin, Supreme Court, Jio, pakis, Srilanka, Cambodia, “bhai”, LTE, oil, capitalism etc.. etc..
