The Ranbir Kapoor starrer & Sandeep Vanga Reddy (Kabir Singh fame) directorial ANIMAL is now declared Blockbuster as it collected around ₹250 Crores in just 4 days including Monday (great run on a working day!). Now, the figure has gone to ₹530 Crores (6 days)! The movie is running in theaters in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. With the Box Office success, ANIMAL is now set to rule on its official OTT platform as well!
Netflix recently received an official notice saying that from now on it can only stream censored content approved by The Film Censor Board of India. ANIMAL was supposed to be of 3 hrs 51 mins on Netflix but now will be of 3 hrs 20 mins i.e. the length running in theatres. Netflix also have to show statutory warnings on liquor, cigarette, etc. scenes.
ANIMAL has released on 26th January 2024 on Netflix so you can start watching! The OTT platform wants to make the most of Republic Day holidays so that more & more enthusiasts can watch ANIMAL online. What's more, Netflix will stream the 3 hr 50 mins version of ANIMAL movie! Abrar aka Bobby Deol said in an interview that the OTT version might have a kissing scene of his and Ranbir Kapoor during climax, interesting!

I understand entertainment, but Animal was quite traumatic. The "hero" was basically a rapist, abuser. What kind of message does it send to a population that treats actors like gods. Illogical movie.

If i have to prove that the hero/villian is bad as** i first catch one fellow , cut his finger with cigar cutter, show blood, hit with hammer show blood, upside down with slit throat blood bath, use a saw to cut, wild imagination. Now he will become great director, just cast a hero whose wavelength matches.

Watched ANIMAL on 5th Dec and I loved it, here are some pointers for those who are not still in dilemma to either watch it or not. Some pointers for all who are planning to watch ANIMAL are as follows :
* If you love watching movies like John Wick you will like for sure
* If you have no problem with gore then you will surely like it
* If you dont take dialogues made on women to much to your heart then you can watch it
* If you have no problem with abusive language then you can go for this movie
* If you have no problem with nudity then you can find movie watchable
PS: Strictly it's NOT for family or kids or light hearted adults.
