NHAI (National Highways Authority of India) will blacklist/block FASTags with incomplete KYC from 1st February 2024. Now, the deadline is extended. This move is to avoid the misuse of FASTags across multiple vehicles and streamline toll collection.

NHAI has now extended the FASTag KYC Update Deadline by 1 month to 29th February (thanks Dimer @mandass). They found that many FASTag users faced trouble to update KYC on the last day i.e. 31st Jan. Also, with RBI Banning Paytm Payments Bank (some categories), Paytm FASTag users were also kept in mind.

Here you can update FASTag KYC from bank and NBFCs like Airtel Payments Bank and Paytm Payments Bank.
Visit the NETC FASTag website
Under 'Request for NETC FASTag' select the bank, it will redirect to the bank's website.
Sign-in to your bank account and update KYC by filling details and submitting required documents.
Visit the bank (Axis, SBI, HDFC, ICICI, etc.) or contact 3rd party NBFCs (Paytm Payments Bank, Airtel Payments Bank, etc.) which issued your FASTag. Ask for a KYC Form, fill it accurately along with required documents (as shown above), and submit/upload.
As we have seen earlier, the government might give an extension to update FASTag KYC before incurring a penalty or any further strict actions!
