Vodafone-Idea have removed Vi Movies & TV Free Subscription from all its Prepaid Plans amid the rise of ViMTV Pro, its paid bundled OTT subscription plan.

Vodafone-Idea (Vi) used to give free Vi Movies & TV OTT (bundled) subscription on all its unlimited prepaid recharge plans, but now this free OTT service has come to an end. However, you can subscribe (ViMTV Pro) for a month with its ₹202 recharge which also comes with 5GB data (save with Vi Recharge Offers).
Vi users can enjoy it for free till the expiry of their current plan. The Vi app often has special & exclusive offers but even plans in the app have excluded Vi Movies & TV. Reason can be the introduction of the ViMTV Pro subscription plan recently.
ViMTV Pro includes Disney+ Hotstar, SonyLIV, Manorama Max, FanCode, Namma Flix, Chaupal, Klikk, Playflix (K-drama), WarnerBros Discovery, Distro TV, ShemarooMe, Hungama, nexGTV, and Yupptv OTT subscriptions for movies, web series, TV shows, and sports.
It also has 400+ live TV channels but only the basic ones like EPIC TV, Shemaroo TV, DD National (all DD channels), 9XM, and devotional channels like Kalyan, Lakshya, Aastha, etc. Besides, Vi users can also watch on smart TVs and multiple devices.
Therefore, now if you want to access Vi Movies & TV then along with your prepaid plan you also need to do the ₹202 monthly recharge (no annual/quarterly plans). However, there is good news as well with the Vi Guarantee offer of 130GB Free Data! Besides, the Jio Cinema Premium ₹299 annual subscription plan was launched recently. Airtel also has bundled OTTs via Airtel Xstream which is free on select recharge plans.

we can understand the frustration but only Jio and Airtel are remaining in the market now and they are making their own rules with no competitors to challenge them. VI and BSNL are almost dead. for now the prices are manageable but the monopoly can lead to the old times where we had paid hefty for just 1 GB.
