Google India is all set to launch a brand new Google Pixel fold phone in India. This is the first time we will get to see a foldable phone from Google Pixel. Thus with the launch of new Pixel foldable phone on the August 13th event, Google will join the likes of OnePlus Open, Samsung Z Fold & Flip, Motorola Razr, Vivo X Fold, and Tecno Phantom V Fold. In the upcoming Google event, users will get to see the new Pixel 9 Pro Fold phone launch, the new Pixel 9 Pro and possibly some new Google Gemini AI features.
Foldable phones are catching up on trend pretty steadily. Perhaps not as aggressively in India as in other countries yet. But that might soon change as more smartphone brands enter into the foldable smartphone space.

From the look of it, the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold looks ultra-premium. The camera module on the phone in the image shared by Google India features a prominent square design with rounded corners. It houses two larger lenses and one smaller lens, along with an additional sensor or flash positioned above the three lenses. The curved edges on the sides makes the Pixel 9 Pro Fold look even more aesthetically pleasing though we will see how functional the deisgn truly is once the phone is launched.
