How to Add Your Bank Account to Paytm for UPI Transactions
Paytm makes it easier to transfer money to bank, UPI, merchant, etc. Here is how you can start with adding your bank account first.
Popular digital payment app Paytm allows you to send and receive money using your smartphone. Additionally, the app provides options for airline booking, energy bill payment, and phone number recharge. Users may quickly start using Paytm by inputting the data of their debit or credit card, but they can also submit the information for their bank account to facilitate UPI transactions.
Users may avoid entering their CVV and OTP each time they use Paytm by connecting their bank accounts. Want to use UPI transactions in the Paytm app but don't know how to add your bank account? We offer a straightforward, detailed manual that explains how to do it.
How to link your bank account to Paytm?
Follow the below-given steps to link your bank account to Paytm.
Step 1 – Open the Paytm app on your device.
Step 2 – Next, click on the UPI button in the top blue ribbon on Home.
Step 3 – You will get an option to select a bank account after clicking on the UPI button for the first time.
Step 4 – From the given option select a bank account.
Step 5 – The app will attempt to retrieve the information for the bank account connected to the registered Paytm number once you have chosen a bank from the list.
The Paytm app will immediately link the user to the UPI ID if it detects a bank account associated with the contact number. If you currently have an MPIN configured, your app page will indicate that a 4-digit UPI PIN is present; otherwise, you may select the Set UPI PIN button to quickly create a new UPI PIN.
