How to Save Money on LPG Booking? Gas Cylinder Discounts & Cashback

Yup, an increase in gas prices is the last thing that we would wish for. But now that that nightmare has come true, we have to face it smartly, agreed? So, here are some tips and tricks on how you can save some money, and get discounts and cashback when booking a gas cylinder for your home:

  1. Book gas cylinder online: The conventional method of booking an LPG cylinder is to just dial the contact number at the back of your gas agency’s diary, right? Let’s change that first. Try using online methods like Paytm, Google Pay, Mobikwik, etc to book gas cylinders with the help of your smartphone. This way, you will get some cashback and rewards by spending money online. Also, many times, you will see some LPG booking offers on these apps, which will help you get further discounts on your purchase.

  2. Use Credit/Debit Cards: Certain credit and debit cards get you 5-7% of cashback on your gas cylinder purchase, like how an Axis credit card helps get a 5% cash back here. So make sure you check whether your credit/debit card helps you with the same or not.

  3. Use Induction Stoves: Nope, an induction stove is not the ideal alternative to a traditional gas stove and you cannot replace it with an induction stove. But what’s wrong with using it every once in a while? If you use an induction stove from time to time, you will be able to save a lot of gas, ultimately saving money that you spend on gas cylinders. And yes, an induction stove is more power efficient than a gas stove, thus costing you lesser money.
