Nothing Phone 2 Launch Confirmed! Phone 2 Teased by Nothing

The Nothing Phone 2 is one of the most awaited smartphones in the Indian smartphone market. Last year, we saw how much love the market showed for the Nothing Phone 1, Carl Pei’s brand’s first phone. Now that the Nothing Phone 1 has set our expectations so high, everyone has been waiting for the Nothing Phone 2 launch. Although there were rumors that Nothing might not launch its Phone 2 this year, those rumors are now debunked as the brand has teased its Nothing Phone 2 before its release. Today, we will talk about the upcoming Nothing Phone 2 launch and some expected specifications of the mobile phone. 

The Nothing Phone 2 is probably the most anticipated mobile phone of 2023, just like its predecessor was in 2022. In its latest teaser on Twitter, the Nothing Phone 2’s back panel looks very similar to the Nothing Phone 1, with a slight difference. So, when do you think we will get to see the Nothing Phone 2 launch?

A recent tweet by Nothing shows the back panel of the upcoming Phone 2, with a red LED on the back that is different from the Nothing Phone 1 launched last year. This teaser got a lot of attention from tech enthusiasts and heated up the market too. Thus, we now know that the Nothing Phone 2 launch in India will be around summer this year. By that, we might conclude that the Nothing Phone 2 launch will be in the month of June.

Carl Pei’s Nothing Phone 1 was launched with the Snapdragon 778G Plus processor, which was the latest one at its time. But this time around, we expect that the Nothing Phone 2 will come with a Snapdragon 8-series processor. This would be a great jump in performance compared to the Nothing Phone 1. Moreover, the Phone 2 is also expected to come with an AMOLED 120 Hz display.

Now when we look at the teased back panel of the Nothing Phone 2 launching possibly in the coming months, it’s plausible that the red LED light might be used when someone records a video using the upcoming Phone 2, just like a professional camera. Nothing fans have great expectations with the Nothing Phone 2 and we might have to wait to see if it lives up to its hype or not.

The Nothing Phone 1’s price in India was around Rs. 33,000 when it was launched. It was too high of a price considering what the device had to offer. After getting some serious criticism from the market, the brand reduced the price of its smartphone and now, the Nothing Phone 1 is available for around Rs. 28,000 all the time, a reasonable price for the device.

Similarly, we expect that the Nothing Phone 2 price in India will be high too in its initial launch days. This might upset the fans a bit, but it is what it is. The expected price of Nothing Phone 2 is around Rs. 39,000 in India. Moreover, India will be one of the first countries where the Nothing Phone 2 will be launched in 2023.
