What if I renew my current plan & extend it for 1 year paying the old pricing, will I be able to enjoy the new benefits given by swiggy dine-in (Dineout) after 4th August?

I have the option now to extend by 1 year. Please suggest if I should go for it. Swiggy seems better with Food and Instamart than Zomato in Hyderabad
I did it without giving a second thought.

Not a chance I'll renew again at those inflated prices. I'd rather reduce online food order and pay for delivery on the rare chance I do order.
manehari wrote:Without Membership, Swiggy Charges minimum 30 to 50 Rs for delivery. If you orders 2 times in a month and if you take in between amount, i.e., 40+40, it will be 80 Rs. So 80 x 12 months = 960 Rs that is alone for food order. Here swiggy charges 899 Rs for food + instamart + dineout + plus giving extra 15% discount on food items. I think one should take it if their orders are more than 2.

or can share with 1 neighbor or friend (preferably neighbor or friend within same locality), so the cost got to half and if order delivered at anyone's house, another person can get it easily within minutes

The membership has no special extra benefits...The prices are too high than zomato and zomato is better even without any membership

They have already jacked up food prices by 30 to 40% in Chennai

Thanks to Desi Dime, I recently got to buy Swiggy One Subscription for my secondary account at just Rs. 450 (Including the 10% cashback from Airtel Axis Credit Card) and within few weeks I recovered the 450 I had spent for purchasing the subscription. Had I not joined Desi Dime I would have not noticed that offer. Same with the Airtel Credit Card. I'm able to get lots of updated information about price hikes and offers from Desi Dime which helped me in saving money.
And now with this price hike and still more than 11 months to go, I feel it was almost offered for FREE. But realistically Rs. 1999 is way too much. Swiggy will decrease it in a few months when most number of people stop renewing just like they did when they reduced minimum order value to Rs. 149 from Rs. 199. If not I don't see them successful when Amazon Food launches all over India.
