3)extra Rs190/- per foot of piping, Rs150/- extra for additional holes in walls (only one is included)

For my Sharp a/c, the retailer sent the a/c to my home, free of cost, on the same day of my purchase. The installation/ customer care office of Sharp gave me a call next day & came that very day for installation. They took 2 days to install the a/c.

2) Rs. 1500/- for installation
3) 3-4 servicing in a year

I too got it delivered today.Now called godrej for installation already.Lets c what happens next.

update a/c’s have been up and running for few days so far no problem but too soon to pass judgement on quality. I installed bothe machines through a local a/c walla. total coast was Rs7000/- major part of cost was to fabricate stands.

So far no complains at all, one thing however to note is the supplied copper pipe is not of copper. Only the ends are of copper, the middle had a black insulation cover and i was wondering why they put that

then I realized its probably aluminum, what they’ve done is just have the ends of the connecting pips (the 12 foot one) of copper where as the middle of the pipe is aluminum which s cleverly concealed with a black insulation coating. I dont expect it to last too long maybe 2-3 years max after which it will probably corrode and will have to be changed.

Worries i opened up thr condenser/compressor unit myself to check if it was aluminum but found it to be copper …. thank God.

So basically an ok product for the money i suppose.

yes you’re right yare but also daikin, even the local ac walla who did the installation for me is sub-contracted by many foreign companies to provide servicing and even he said daikin is arguably the best.

But godrej also is not bad yare, if i run for one hour room stays cool for 2-3 hours after that. I just run two hours a day each room. One hour in the afternoon and room remains cool for 2 hours after that and one hour in the night and room remains cool 3 hours after that. Room sealing is good I have sound proof windows so this could also be a reason.

But anyway sasta bhi hai, silent bhi hai, powerful bhi hai, so not bad. Drawbacks are connecting pipe made of aluminum, remote doesnt have backlight, not sure if auto on feature is there I’m waiting for our resident remote expert Vaibhavshan to enlighten me on that. (Vaibhavbhai tu kither hai …)

too early to say but so far so good, if anyone has any question on godrej ac I will try my best to answer so you guys get correct information and not misinformation generally provided by salespeople.

Mein abhi airport se lauta aur room is cool, ac started 15mins b4 i got back, janay ke pehlae 2 hr on timer set kiya

How is the ac working now..bught a godrej ac will get delivered in 5 days as no stock here..but now,after reading many reviews i feel i made a wrong decision..help me out
