Open a savings account and apply for platinum credit card and wait for 3 months after you receive your platinum card. Then apply for Apay ICICI and you get instant approval. You can use your exiting CC to apply on c2c basis.

You can apply icici Platinum chip on card to card basis.
Try it before opening the account.
For now don’t apply anything in ICICI.

Guys, I used to work in ahmedabad and got sbi, and icici amazon pay card using rent agreement address. I have no icici account. But now I have moved to my rural home town in madhya pradesh. In future how can I renew those cards before expiry ? Because most cards are supported in city location. The address in both cards is of ahmedabad.

HDFC bank is allowing to open zero balance basic savings bank deposit account through their instant account option. Just opened it and will go to branch tomorrow for KYC

Strange thing happened today about Indusind bank.surprisingly received call from verification executive and he asked me to my address to verify same.then i told him and he arrived to my home and asked all details for my cc application. When i tell to i have pre-aproved offer of that card and any physical verification doesn’t required and same was inform me online.he just denied and said its compulsory to get card.
I wondered because in this corona crisis every bank avoid physical visit and do e-verification then indusund do instead even they claim for paperless and e-kyc. Very strange bank.
Now iam scary to take this card or not because they hav not any general protocol and even make false claim.
Very strange. maybe they flagged your details and they were not matching with CIBIL and made the physical verification.

Interesting story about axis cc.
on friday i had applied for flipkart axis card from flipkart app.documentation picked on very next day. On Monday got a message for application confirmation.Status show declined on Tuesday. Still today i got call from chennai for verification.
