Location of office is not suit me a metro
Bus is not stopping here in bus stand, waiting time is around an hour on bus stand (plus not safe in corona time)
Bike, i don’t have license and i haven’t learned yet, how to drive.
So cycle is the only option, looking for me.

Stop taking free advice from inexperienced people.
12kms to and fro is not at all long. It’s very moderate distance.
If you are from a humid city, better your office has showers. Else you will stink and it’s not advisable to go by cycle.
Meanwhile order cycle and get riding experience with it. Couple of weeks later u can ride gearless scooty as well. Then u can use scooty during summer and cycle the rest of seasons.
6kms hardly take 25mins for me with moderate traffic.
Buy a hybrid cycle of maybe btwin, montra, firefox.”
I’ve Hercules Rodeo A-300 with 6 gears I bought it in 2013 and rode back home (18km) it was fun…I had stopped cycling for years and it was amazing…now though I don’t ride that much my cycle got punctured 1 year back .
Will fix it asap 🕺🕺🤸♂️🤸♂️🤸♂️
Thanks bro and go for it🤩 🏻
Buy a cycle and train your muscles first…then it doesn’t matter how far you ride…you won’t feel the pain(if any)
Even I had a Roadeo once ( 26T ) … got it from Fk at 5K. This one taught me the difference between having gears and not.
Second bought Ridley TF1 ( 27.5 ) and riding this one. Did lots of trips of 100 Kms+ during the whole winter time and may be this winter was one of the best in my life for cycling so far.
My elder bro got waltyx Dune 4 ( 26*4 ) and recently bought a Vector 91 ( frog brand got renamed to 91 ) from amazon at 13.1K. This one is a 29er with plus size tyres ie 2.4 inches. Needed some fixing by mechanic .
My point is roadeo used to be a good cycle once when there was short of brands but now there’s better cycles are available.
Electric Scooter is very Best
idk not able to reply
How about this one

Going for this MTB is also a good option.

Hi ,
I’m a regular cyclist from Chennai, which is hot on summer. So during summer u need shower and winters you need raincoat if you want to commute to office. If you want to avoid sweat but also like to do workout a little. better buy a e-cycle , morning use the motor to commute and in evening use the pedal.
1 month ago i purchased firefox grunge from flipkart for around 10k, it is very good and iam riding it daily for nearly 10 to 15 kms
Get battery cycle
I took Hero Lectro c5i electric cycle (30k) which gives you a range of 25k without a pedal. Morning just electric. Evening electric-assisted pedal cycling.
Go for btwin my bike by Decathlon….. Non gear.. .. White color is cool looking and best for fitness cum transport
OP which one did u buy ?
I have ordered following two cycles
https://www.amazon.in/dp/B08T8NNDSK/ref=cm_sw_r...
Approx price after coupons(business account), 5%cb on Amazon pay cc, zingoy cb is 12000
https://dl.flipkart.com/dl/waltx-summit-26-t-mo...
Approx price is 11500(I had purchased flipkart gift cards using olamoney from magicpin, ola money was loaded using sbi olamoney card which gave 16% cb and paying on magicpin gave 4% cb so total approx 20% value back)
Which one I should cancel?
12km is jus normal to ride a cycle daily jus buy any 7speed geared cycle to ease ur paddling
Amar cycle
Decathlon btwin is best to ride. Light weight and smooth
What will be the price for gear less?? Can a 6.1 ft guy use it? Weight 86kgs
You all are fools. Have you seen any response from the guy who posted this discussion. He is not interested in your advice anymore , else he would have responded to at least one person but did not. So stop being fooled….
Urban terrain is a good option, u can opt that brand, I am using.
Take a hybrid bike.
I have worth $100 flipkart voucher. PM me if anyone interested
I want 100£ flipkart voucher if you have. /s
You can buy electric battery cycle in online. Search for it in online or in youtube. The cost may be around 30000
Take electric battery cycle which is worth 35000 rupees in online
(cyclist suggestion)
Hi Bro
Triban 100 (by Decathlon)
is the basic/best performance cycle which you can opt.
Flipkart voucher should not limit ur selection.
I bought it for 20k 3 years back, after pandemic, price hike to 23k /-
6km + 6km is not at all a big deal, it’s a cake walk after a week.. belive me..
12km even in summer not an issue, but rainy season.. it’s a problem..
95% of Cycles below this cost, u will regret.
With this cycle, u can go 40/50/60 until 100 kms easily as a workout too.. which i do usually..
Last, see in olx for this kind of Cycles for lesser budget, with some knowledgeably cautious
happy riding
Go for hero lectro. Electric
It costs only 22k around.. Hero lectro electric… Wait for sale.. Single gear.. Best for your purpose i feel
https://www.decathlon.in/p/8641588/mountain-bik...
How is this option ..?
I’m a cyclist, first of all you set your budget so that we can suggest you the best among all.
I will advice you to go for hybrid cycle you can go any brand like 91, Firefox, montra.
I have 5 bikes the hybrid I use is Ninety one trooper which will cost you around 28k. Let me know your budget so that I can suggest you the best one. Cheer and happy cycling.
What all 5 bikes u have?
I know once one gets hooked to cycles… There are bound to be multiple cycles at home.
I think the people giving suggestions here fall into two groups. The group that doesn’t ride seem to be suggesting 6KM at a stretch and 12KM per day is too much. I feel the other group is of riders. From my own experience, it took about a week to ride 10KM comfortably ( ~1hr with short breaks ). I think 6KM is nothing after a month of riding.
thin = fast. Fat = comfy. if you need comfortable riding go for fat wider tyres which have strong grip on roads.
