I will beat the heat by Traveling in an AC car, sleeping with AC on.
Not only that, I will make sure Global Warming stops by giving Lectures in an AC auditorium running on a generator using fossil fuel.
My suggestions :
Drink glass off water per hour, 3-4 litres a day.
Prepare & drink Lassi at home . Some drink Sattu as well.
Wash or hydrate your face 2-3 times a day..

No mantra-jantra-tantra works in summers except the ACs & Coolers.
No sattu, cold-drink works in summers except the ACs & Coolers.
One exception is the ground floor with high ceiling. Works like AC.
Nimbu pani, coconut water, cold coffee, chaas (on a daily basis)
Sweet lassi, bubble tea, ice cream (sometimes)
my 10 year old LG split AC still does it job
Lucky you, many still can't afford AC.
Also people who were distributing Kambal in Winters have not yet started service of donating AC for summers 😜
AC , personal vehicles , deforestation, stable burning, dirty rivers ( thanks to us ) well we are doing a lot of damages and later debating how to counter the heat how to save the planet how to counter global warming
blablabla.
Just dont
Logic denge sab but how many of us will reduce the usage of those things ?
Nahi karenge na?
So please yaha logic mat do
Not tagging anyone cause its a generalized statement for all of us
I'm not ashamed of commenting on this thread while sitting in this AC office cabin. Or by saying I turn on AC at home or car to beat the heat. While my father could have provided all of this to me BUT I chose to work hard to get here.
Do I care about the environment? Looking at these tall shiny, central AC office buildings built on agricultural land, AC vehicles running around day and night, high rise buildings being constructed all around, I wonder me changing my lifestyle to accommodate environment will make any difference? Will it?
To beat the heat, I drink lime water, cold coffee, cold water, juices, absolutely no soft drinks. I like tea and hot coffee but during summer I avoid both.
More fresh fruits and less dry fruits.
Having said that, I really don't care about heat and if I don't have all that I wrote above, I'm still good to enjoy the season.
So my real mantra to beat the summer heat it, ignore it!! That's what I did for years and I' still capable of doing it now 😊
Ac namo namah
Coming to a serious point,
Cities & outskirts should start rainwater harvesting.
Otherwise, cities like Bangalore will die in a decade.
Huge underground reservoirs of Rainwater need to be built.
But politicians are busy in filling in their pockets along with giving freebies. Scientists or advisors have already given warnings.
Think from perspective of more than 1 CR people , probably you might realize the difference.
Each person in this world has power to change and make this world better for future.
I am not against usage of AC or modern amenities , but think of where it has led us from last 50 years and where we will be in next 50 years .
No personal offences, but please be an empath towards others.
While, its easy to say what you said but deep down if you really think, you need to understand how you used your power to change something.
How you uplifted people around you, your immediate family.
How you helped the environment, if at all you did. Not in a 'superficial' way but in a real sense.
What you are really doing right now which will impact the world positively in next 50 years.
Empathy is a tool for the rich. Empathy is nothing if your actions does not make a positive impact on stuff you express your empathy for.
Here 'you' is not you as a person, its all of us.
By the way if you really think from prospective of more than 1CR people, at least 50% of them are yet to get to a level so they could think about world/environment etc.
Even for that matter, summer heat is a topic of discussion for the rich. Those who are struggling to meet ends, have no time for this!
By the way I never said I don't care about others. I said, me caring will make any difference?
