At DesiDime we have been one of the earliest to notify shoppers about upcoming sale dates and best deals. Our expert community of shoppers and our team have been staying updated with the Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale for more than 10 years ever since the GIF sale first started in the year 2015

So as you can see the Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale has a record history of starting soon before the Pratipada Navratri festival in September-end or October’s first 2 weeks.

While the Amazon GIF Sale 2026 is expected to start from 2nd October this year, the sale gets announced much early on. Typically 2-3 weeks before the actual sale date.

Thus, expect the Great Indian Festival Sale to be announced by 20th to 23rd September if the sale gets slated for 2nd October or 7th October.

The Samsung S25 Ultra deal in Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale 2026 is among the most awaited deals of the year. If you’ve been following the Amazon GIF Sale, you’d know Amazon does bring a lowest price ever deal on the Samsung S series flagship. Last year in 2025, we saw Amazon bring the Samsung S24 Ultra at Rs.71,999 which wasn’t its lowest ever price (although, still very close). Similarly, last to last year in 2024, Amazon bought the S23 Ultra at Rs.69,999. This year too shoppers have high expectations for the Samsung S25 Ultra offer in the Great Indian Festival Sale.

Expect the Samsung S25U price in Amazon GIF Sale (2026) to be around ₹74,999 or ₹77,999. This is because Samsung and other smartphone brands have recently hiked prices of some of their smartphones and there’s clearly a rise in electronics prices this year. So given the lowest ever price of S25 Ultra is ₹80350 spotted 2 months ago, shoppers can expect the S25U price in the upcoming Amazon sale to be around 75K or 78K.

.

iPhone prices in Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale again catch a lot of eyeballs since Amazon has a history of bringing at least one iPhone at its lowest price of the year or close to it. While Flipkart has a history of bringing the latest iPhone series (such as iPhone 16 last year and the iPhone 15 the year before that) at its lowest ever price. On the other hand, Amazon has a track history of bringing the older series iPhone or the Pro model at its lowest price.

Thus, this year in 2026, expect the Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale to offer the iPhone 16, the iPhone 16 Pro or the iPhone 15 at their lowest ever prices. The iPhone 15 in the Amazon Republic Day Sale this year was priced at ₹49,999 (spotted 7 months ago) and has a track record of listing at higher discounts on Amazon consistently compared to Flipkart. The lowest ever price of iPhone 15 is probably ₹46624 spotted in last year’s Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale. Thus, we might still get to see a lower price deal on iPhone 15 in the upcoming Amazon GIF Sale.

The iPhone 16 is also another highly expected deal in the upcoming GIF Sale. Given the iPhone 15 will be 3 generations old by the time the Great Indian Sale arrives (since Apple would likely launch iPhone 18 in Sept 2026), it’s highly likely that Amazon might ditch the iPhone 15 deal and instead bring the iPhone 16 at lowest price.

The iPhone 16 in the recent Amazon Prime Day Sale was available at an average sale price of ₹59,755 (while it was almost 10K cheaper on Flipkart, i.e. ₹49,900). So expect a sale price of ₹49K for the iPhone 16 during this GIF Sale 2026.
